Initiatives on the Use of Video Products
EZVIZ is committed to responsible technology use. Video products record real scenes and can be valuable, but improper use can infringe on privacy and rights. EZVIZ advocates for responsible and lawful use to create a positive environment.
Key initiatives include:
- Respecting privacy: Display warning notices in public areas and obtain consent in non-public areas.
- Objective recording: Users should identify involved parties to avoid infringement. Be aware that audio recording captures conversations.
- Data usage: Video products are tools; users are responsible for lawful and ethical data handling, respecting laws, conventions, and privacy rights.
- Data security: Implement measures to prevent data leakage, misuse, and intrusions, including access control and network security.
- Promoting safety: Video products enhance safety. Abusing them for unlawful activities contradicts their value. Users are encouraged to establish their own rules for proper and thoughtful use.
Information for Private Households
Regarding waste equipment disposal:
- Separate Collection: Electrical and electronic equipment (waste equipment) must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste, using special collection and return systems.
- Batteries and Lamps: Separate waste batteries and rechargeable lamps from the main equipment before handing them in, unless the equipment is prepared for reuse by a waste management authority.
- Returning Waste Equipment: Households can return waste equipment free of charge to public waste management collection points or manufacturer/distributor take-back points. Stores with significant sales areas for electrical/electronic equipment are required to take back old equipment.
- Privacy Notice: Waste equipment may contain sensitive personal data. End users are responsible for deleting data before disposal.
- Symbol Meaning: The "crossed-out wheelie bin" symbol indicates the device must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.
