The KD-MAX features a robust design with clearly labeled ports and buttons. Key external features include a High Frequency Induction Region, a Transponder Holder for chip placement, a Low Frequency Induction Acquisition Head, a Status Indicator LED, a HOME Button, Functional Shortcut Buttons, a Voltage Detection Interface, a Loudspeaker, a Camera, an LED Flash Lamp, a Switch Button, a Compulsory Resetting Button, a Remote Read/Write Port, and a USB Data Port.

Ports Description:

• TYPE-C Charging Port: For charging the device using a 4.5-5.5V/2A charger. When charging is complete, the device automatically stops to protect the battery.
• PS2 Burning Port: This port supports multiple functions:
  • Insert the remote generating cable (6P cable) for remote generation.
  • Insert the unlocking cable for unlocking remotes.
  • Insert the unlocking cable and enter Battery Leakage Detection mode. Connect the red probe to the positive terminal and the black probe to the negative terminal of the remote board (ensure the remote battery is removed first) to detect battery leakage.
• Voltage Detection Interface: Insert a button cell battery (observing positive and negative poles) into this interface to enter Voltage Detection mode and check the battery voltage.

6. Button Description

• Switch Button:
  • Power On: When the device is off, press and hold the switch button for 2 seconds.
  • Power Off/Restart/Screenshot: When the device is on, press and hold the switch button for 2 seconds to display options for Power Off, Restart, or Screenshot.
  • Standby/Wake: When the screen is on, a single press puts the device into standby (screen off). When the screen is off, a single press wakes the device (screen on).
• HOME Button: A single press displays a list of shortcut functions. Pressing it again exits the shortcut list.
• Compulsory Resetting Button: Insert a card ejector pin into the designated hole on the bottom left of the device to perform a compulsory reset.

7. Safety Precautions

• Keep the device away from water, dust, and avoid dropping it.
• Do not store or use the device in environments with high temperature, high humidity, flammable materials, explosive substances, or strong magnetic fields.
• Do not use chargers with mismatched specifications.
• Do not disassemble or modify the device's internal components without authorization, as you will bear the consequences.
• Protect the display screen, camera, and other key components from damage by sharp objects.

8. Warranty and After-sales Instructions

The KD-MAX device is covered by a two-year warranty for non-human faults (one-year warranty for the battery), starting from the user's activation date. During the warranty period, KEYDIY will provide free repair services for faults confirmed not to be caused by the user. For issues arising after the warranty period, repair fees will apply.

The following circumstances are not covered by the free warranty:

• Damage to components or circuit boards due to improper user handling or accidental disasters.
• Damage resulting from unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.
• Damage caused by failure to follow the precautions outlined in this manual.
• Damage due to collision, dropping, or improper voltage.
• Normal wear and tear of the device casing from prolonged use.
