1. Overview
The KEYDIY KD Tag is designed for global precise positioning of items such as backpacks, wallets, umbrellas, handbags, jackets, cameras, suitcases, keys, and bicycles. It operates without data usage or annual fees and is exclusively compatible with iOS systems, not supporting Android phones.

4. Buttons Settings
- Turn on: Press the button once. A long buzz will be heard.
- Turn off: Press and hold the button for approximately 3 seconds until two short buzz sounds are heard.
- Enable Bluetooth: Double-click the button until one short buzz is heard.
- Restore factory settings: Use the "4+1 reset" method. Within 5 seconds, perform 4 quick presses followed by a long press on the fifth attempt until the device emits a prompt sound, indicating successful reset.
5. Product Binding
Before binding, ensure your iPhone's Bluetooth is enabled. Press the KD Tag button once to power it on.
- Open the 'Find My' app on your iPhone.
- Tap 'Add Items'.
- Select 'Other supported items'.
- Connect the KD Tag found.
- Confirm your Apple ID and tap 'Continue'.
- Finish binding.
6. Accurate Search at Close Range
When the KD Tag is within approximately 15 meters of your iPhone, open the 'Find My' app, select the item, and tap 'Play Sound'. The KD Tag's buzzer will emit a sound.
7. Precise Global Positioning
When the KD Tag is far from your iPhone, select the KD Tag in the 'Find My' items list. You can view its location on the map and tap 'Directions' to navigate to the KD Tag's position.
8. Left Behind Reminder
With the 'Notify When Left Behind' function enabled, your phone will receive a notification if the KD Tag is separated from you, indicating your item is no longer with you.
Steps: 1. Enable notification reminders for 'Left Behind'. 2. Receive a notification for 'Left Behind'.
9. Lost Mode
When Lost Mode is enabled, you will be notified when the KD Tag's location becomes available. The KD Tag is linked to your Apple ID and cannot be paired with other devices. If someone finds your KD Tag, they can view information about the manufacturer, serial number, and owner's contact details upon attempting to bind it.
Steps: 1. Enable Lost Mode. 2. Receive notification when found. 3. Retrieve item information.
