IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using the electrical appliance, the following basic safety precautions should be followed:
- Read all instructions.
- Before use, check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the rating label found on the appliance.
- Do not let the supply cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
- Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use, especially when children are present.
- Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or product in water or other liquids. If the product falls into water, immediately disconnect from the mains power outlet. Do not touch or reach into the water.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Never operate this product if it has a damaged power cord or plug, is not working properly, has been dropped or damaged, or if the base has been exposed to water or other liquids. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Any repairs to the product should be carried out by a qualified electrical person only, or the product must be disposed of.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been damaged in any manner.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrical person to avoid a hazard, or the product must be disposed of.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Avoid contacting moving parts.
- Blades are sharp; handle with care.
- The use of any attachments not supplied with the product may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- To prevent damage to the blade and/or the electric motor, the appliance must not be used for blending hard and dry substances.
- Unplug from mains power outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put the electric motor unit or power cord in water or other liquid.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Keep hands and utensils out of the blending jug while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running.
- To reduce the risk of injury, never place the cutter-assembly blades on the base without attaching it to the jar properly.
- Always operate the blender with the jar cover in place.
- Warning: never use hot liquids or run the appliance empty.
- Be careful of potential injury from misuse.
- Care must be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl, and during cleaning.
- Always disconnect the appliance from mains power if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
- Switch OFF the appliance and disconnect from mains power before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; Farmhouses; By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; Bed and breakfast type environments.
WARNING! Do not blend hot liquids. To prevent scalding, DO NOT process boiling liquids or hot ingredients in the blender. Allow hot ingredients to cool down below 40°C before placing them in the blender.
IMPORTANT! To prevent damage to the electric motor, the maximum operating time is 1 minute. Allow it to rest for at least 2 minutes before using it again. After 5 cycles of operation, allow the blender (electric motor) to cool down to room temperature. Allow it to cool down for approx. 30 minutes before using it again.
Note: The appliance is incorporated with a non-self-resetting thermal motor protection circuit to protect the motor from overheating. If the motor shuts OFF while in use, unplug the unit from the main power outlet. Remove the blending jar from the motor unit and free the blade of any obstructions. Allow the unit to cool down for at least 1 hour. After then, plug the unit back into mains power for normal operation.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Before first use, unpack the appliance and place all parts on a horizontal surface.
- Ensure the Speed Selector is in the “OFF” Position, then plug into power outlet and set Speed Selector to your desired setting. You can press down on the Pulse or Ice crush button (See Fig. 2) without releasing if required to accelerate the process of blending.
NOTE: Make sure the jar cover is placed in position properly before operating, and never open the jar cover during operation. - Once all pieces have been cleaned and dried thoroughly, reassemble the jar.
- Invert the jar onto a flat surface. Holding the jar handle, put the blade assembly onto the jar base bottom and secure the blade assembly by turning it clockwise until tight (See Fig.3).
- Re-position the jar assembly with its opening upwards. Wrap the seal ring around the lid bottom and put the lid onto the jar assembly. Place the measure cup exactly into the lid by fitting the small projection on both sides of the cup into the slots of the lid and turning the cup clockwise until tight (See Fig.4).
- Finally, place the assembled jar onto the motor unit by aligning the arrow on the assembled jar bottom and motor unit.
CAUTION: The jar and jar base are now secured. To prevent damage, do not try to twist the jar and jar base onto the motor unit.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Peel or core the fruit or vegetables and then cut them into small pieces.
- Place the food to be blended into the jar (See Fig.6). Add some purified water to facilitate the smooth running of the blender. The proportion of the food and water should be 2:3. The amount of mixture should not exceed the max. level mark as indicated on the jar.

Note: Never use boiling liquids or run the appliance empty.
- Put the lid on the jar. Be sure the measuring cup is in place.
- Plug the power cord into a mains power outlet socket.
- Choose the appropriate speed setting for operation.
- For quick or delicate blending tasks, press the Pulse or Ice crush button. Operate several times until the consistency you want is obtained.
- If you want to add ingredients while the blender is operating, remove the measuring cup and place through the lid opening. (See Fig.7)
IMPORTANT! When crushing ice or hard food, keep one hand firmly on the lid.
IMPORTANT! Use ice cubes only approximately 2cm³ in size. - When the consistency you desire is obtained, turn the Speed Selector to “OFF” Position.
Note:
1) For each use, the consecutive operation time should not exceed 1 minute. Allow it to rest for at least 2 minutes before using it again. After 5 cycles of operation, allow the blender (electric motor) to cool down to room temperature. Allow it to cool down for approx. 30 minutes before using it again.
2) If you want to stop the machine during operation, turn the Speed Selector to “OFF” position anytime.

WARNING:
1. Never operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute per time.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Make sure to disconnect the appliance from mains power before cleaning.
For the blender:
The Auto Clean function can clean the blender easily and rapidly in complete safety.

- Dry all parts and then reassemble them. The method of assembling the blender attachment is the reverse of its detaching sequence.
NOTE: If you encounter any problem during use, never attempt to disassemble the Motor Unit by yourself. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Any repairs to the appliance must be carried out by a qualified electrical person only.
STORAGE
- Unplug and clean the unit.
- Ensure all parts are properly dried.
- Store in the original box or in a clean, dry place.
- Never store the blender while it is hot or whilst connected to mains power.
- Never wrap the cord tightly around the product. Never place any stress on the cord, especially where the cord enters the unit, as this could cause the cord to fray and break.

Kmart will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
