WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
WARNING! Do not blend hot liquids. To prevent scalding, DO NOT process boiling liquids or hot ingredients in the blender. Allow hot ingredients to cool down below 40°C before placing them in the blender.
CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
IMPORTANT! To prevent damage to the electric motor, the maximum operating time is 1 minute. Allow it to rest for at least 3 minutes before using it again. After 5 cycles of operation, allow the blender (electric motor) to cool down to room temperature. Allow it to cool down for approx. 30 minutes before using it again.
Note: The appliance is incorporated with a non-self resetting thermal motor protection circuit to protect the motor from overheating. If the motor shuts OFF while in use, unplug the unit from the main power outlet. Remove the blending jar from the motor unit and free the blade of any obstructions. Allow the unit to cool down for at least 1 hour. After then, plug the unit back into mains power for normal operation.

When the motor speed is found to be too slow, you must immediately use a higher speed setting to blend or turn the speed selector to “OFF” to stop blending!
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Make sure to disconnect appliance from mains power before cleaning.
Quick cleaning method:
To quickly clean the glass jar and blades with the PULSE function, fill the glass jar half-full with warm water and a little dish detergent. Close the lid and move the control switch to the Speed Selector position a few times. Remove the jar and rinse well.
General cleaning method:
- Clean the blender thoroughly after each use.
- Dismantle all detachable parts. Disassemble the Jar from the motor unit and rinse it under running water. Detach the blade assembly from the jar assembly, take the blade assembly out, and finally remove the jar base seal ring. (See diagrams below for disassembly/reassembly sequence).
- Wipe the external surface of the motor base with a soft cloth moistened with water or dish detergent.
- Dry all parts and then reassemble them. The method of assembling blender attachment is just the opposite of its detaching sequence. (See diagrams below for disassembly/reassembly sequence).
IMPORTANT! Do not use abrasive cleanser and never immerse motor unit in water for cleaning.
NOTE: If you encounter any problem during use, never attempt to disassemble the Motor Unit by yourself. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Any repairs to the appliance must be carried out by a qualified electrical person only.
Diagram Descriptions for Assembly/Disassembly:
- Detaching the blade assembly from the jar assembly: This involves unscrewing the blade assembly from the bottom of the jar.
- Reassembling the blade: This involves screwing the blade assembly back onto the bottom of the jar.
- Detaching the blade assembly from the jar unit by anti-clockwise direction: This describes unscrewing the blade assembly from the jar.
- Reassembling the blade assembly to jar unit tightly by clockwise direction: This describes screwing the blade assembly back onto the jar securely.
STORAGE
- Unplug and clean unit.
- Ensure all parts are properly dried.
- Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.
- Never store the blender while it is hot or whilst connected to mains power.
- Never wrap the cord tightly around the product. Never place any stress on the cord, especially where the cord enters the unit, as this could cause the cord to fray and break.
