The 360° Indoor Camera requires a stable and strong Wi-Fi connection. Choose a location for the camera and check the Wi-Fi signal strength using your smartphone. The table below indicates sufficient Wi-Fi connection strengths:
Connection Strength | Suitability |
---|---|
3G/4G (Not Wi-Fi) | ❌ |
Very Weak Wi-Fi Signal | ❌ |
Weak Wi-Fi Signal | ❌ |
Good Wi-Fi Signal | ✔️ |
Strong Wi-Fi Signal | ✔️ |

When positioning the camera:

5.3 Power the 360° Indoor Camera
Select the appropriate plug (EU, US, UK) and attach it to the power adapter. Connect the camera to the power adapter using the power cable and plug it into a socket. The camera will boot up and prepare for configuration (approx. 50 seconds). The light ring will blink green when the camera is ready to connect to Wi-Fi.
5.4 Configuration of the 360° Indoor Camera
How to configure:
- Start the Bosch Smart Camera App and log in with your Bosch ID or register.
- In the app's overview screen, select "Add Camera".
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Once entries are complete, the app generates a QR code. Hold the QR code approximately 10-20 cm from the camera lens.
Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the camera. If your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, select the 2.4 GHz band on your smartphone. Do not close or switch the app during commissioning.
When the camera recognizes the QR code, a beep will sound. The initialization routine begins, indicated by the light ring changing colors. It will then light up blue for approximately 1 minute, and the camera will be displayed in the app, ready for use. The LED ring flashes blue during video streaming. ▶️
