Target Application
This product is intended for indoor use only and must be used exclusively with original Bosch Smart Home components.

Indicators and Control
Product Overview
The camera features several indicators and controls:
- Front View:
- 1. Wide angle lens: Covers a 120° horizontal viewing angle, with 360° rotation.
- 2. Microphone.
- 3. Light ring: Displays the camera's status.
- 4. Motion detector: Three detectors provide 360° coverage, enabling motion sensing outside the camera's direct viewing angle.
- Back View:
- 5. SD card slot: Main storage medium, with an 8 GB SD card pre-installed.
- 6. Power supply input.
- 7. Speaker mesh: Covers the loudspeaker.
- 8. Reset hole: Resets all settings, deletes all recordings, and removes the camera from the system.
Initial Configuration
Before You Start
Download the Bosch Smart Camera App to install and configure the 360°-Indoor Camera. Ensure you have a stable internet and Wi-Fi connection, and have your Wi-Fi password ready. Connect your smartphone to the Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the camera.
For Android Devices:
- Open Google Play.
- Search for “Bosch Smart Home”.
- Select the “Bosch Smart Camera App”.
- Tap “Install”.
For Apple iOS Devices:
- Open the App Store.
- Search for “Bosch Smart Home”.
- Select the “Bosch Smart Camera App”.
- Tap “Install”.
Check the Wi-Fi Availability
ℹ️ The 360°-Indoor Camera requires a stable and strong Wi-Fi connection.
Position your 360°-Indoor Camera and check the Wi-Fi signal strength at that location using your smartphone. The following table indicates Wi-Fi connection strength sufficiency:

360°-Indoor Camera Installation
When positioning your 360°-Indoor Camera, please observe the following:
- Place the camera on a flat, level surface.
- Direct the motion sensor (located below the Bosch logo) towards the center of the room.
- Route the power cable carefully to prevent accidental tugs that could cause the camera to tip over.
- Position the camera to best observe the desired area, avoiding direct views into windows.
ℹ️ The 360°-Indoor Camera is not suitable for outdoor use. It should only be placed in climate-controlled indoor environments.
Ensure the 360°-Indoor Camera is placed upright, for example, on a cupboard or table.
Power the 360°-Indoor Camera
Select the appropriate plug (EU, US, or UK) and attach it to the power adapter.
Connect the 360°-Indoor Camera via the power cable to a power socket.
After approximately 50 seconds, the 360°-Indoor Camera will be powered on and ready for use. It will boot up and prepare for configuration. The light ring will blink green when it is ready to connect to Wi-Fi.
Configuration of the 360°-Indoor Camera
To configure the 360°-Indoor Camera, ensure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the camera. If your router supports dual-band frequencies (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), select the 2.4 GHz band on your smartphone.
ℹ️ Do not close or switch away from the app during the configuration process.
How to configure the Indoor Camera:
- Start the Bosch Smart Camera App.
- Log in with your Bosch account or register if you don't have one.
- On the app's overview screen, select "Add Camera".
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the app.
Once all required information is entered, the app will generate a QR code. Hold this QR code approximately 10-20 cm away from the camera lens.
When the camera recognizes the QR code, you will hear a beep. The camera will then begin its initialization routine, during which the LED ring will change colors. Upon completion, the LED ring will light up blue for approximately 1 minute, and the camera will appear in the app, ready for use.
ℹ️ The LED ring consistently flashes blue while you are streaming videos.
Error and Error Resolutions

If the error persists, tap "previous" in the app, re-enter the Wi-Fi password, generate a new QR code, and present it to the camera. If this error occurs with a previously working camera, check your Wi-Fi router. |

360°-Indoor Camera Operation

You can also tap the camera head twice to easily switch the camera on and off without using the app. This action will extend or retract the camera head.
Maintenance and Care
The product is maintenance-free. Repairs should only be performed by qualified persons. Clean the product with a soft, clean, dry, and lint-free cloth. Do not use cleaning agents containing solvents.
