Important Safety Information
⚠️ WARNING: Strangulation hazard.
- Never place the cord within reach of a child in a cot or playpen.
- Always secure the cord to the wall or cabinet.
- Check regularly that the cord is securely fastened.
- Pull the cord to remove any slack between fasteners. Tie up any remaining slack cord between the driver and socket.
⚠️ Always remove batteries before storing the product.
⚠️ The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
⚠️ Use only a safety transformer with a SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) output as a supply for the product.
⚠️ Use only batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types.
Battery Information
- Batteries are sold separately.
- IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable batteries (2450 mAh HR6 AA 1.2V).
- Three pieces are required.
Installation
The ROLFSTORP LED lighting can be mounted to a wall or cabinet.
Mounting:
- Ensure a minimum clearance of 8 cm (3 1/5") from the ceiling or top surface when mounting.
- The light fixture attaches via mounting brackets. Follow the diagrams for correct placement and attachment.
Battery Installation:
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Power Connection:
- The light can be powered by batteries or via a USB connection (USB cable and power adapter sold separately).
- Connect the USB cable to the light and a suitable power adapter.
Operation and Usage
The ROLFSTORP LED lighting is operated via a switch on the fixture.
- Power Control: A short press (approx. 0.5 seconds) of the power button turns the light ON or OFF.
- Dimming: Press and hold the power button (approx. 1.5 seconds) to adjust the brightness.
Battery Life (with IKEA LADDA 2450mAh batteries):
- Approximately 2 hours at full brightness.
- Approximately 4 hours at medium brightness.
- Approximately 12 hours at low brightness.
