Place the mixer on a sturdy, level surface. Ensure adequate space around the mixer for operation and for easy installation and removal of bowls and attachments.
Electrical Connections
WARNING: This machine is equipped with a three-prong grounding cord. It is essential to plug the mixer into a properly grounded outlet.

Operation
Power On and Power Off
Upon powering on, indicators and the digital display will flash, accompanied by a 1-second buzzer. If the device was shut down normally, it enters a standby state after 1 second, displaying '0' and speed level 1. If the motor was running previously, the prior state is restored, but the motor pauses. Always stop the motor before unplugging the power.
Starting and Stopping the Mixer
Ensure the bowl is attached and the lift is in the 'up' position before pressing the start/stop button. Speed and timer can be adjusted using the up/down arrows. Timer adjustments made after starting are temporary. Use the Start/Pause button to temporarily halt the motor; the timer also pauses. Pressing Start resumes operation. Pressing Stop returns the mixer to standby mode.
Countdown Timer and Reminder
In the final 15 seconds, an alarm sounds every 2 seconds until the timer reaches 0. The motor stops automatically, and the display shows "00". After reaching zero, the alarm sounds once every 10 seconds for one minute.
Controls
Note on Cleaning New Parts: Thoroughly wash new mixer bowls and agitators (beaters, whip, dough hook) with hot water and mild soap. Rinse with a mild soda or vinegar solution, followed by a clean water rinse, before first use. This procedure is also recommended before whipping egg whites or whole eggs.
- ON/OFF: Initiates or stops operation.
- SPEED INDICATOR BAR: Displays the current speed setting (1-5). It will flash if an uneven load is detected in the bowl.
- TIMER: Digital setting from 1 to 30 minutes (or seconds). A flashing dot on the timer display indicates minutes are being counted.
- BUTTONS:
- Start/Pause: Begins or pauses the mixer's motor.
- Stop: Stops the mixer's motor.
- Timer Up Arrow: Increases timer duration.
- Timer Down Arrow: Decreases timer duration.
- Speed Up Arrow: Increases motor speed.

Installation of Bowls and Attachments
How to Install a Bowl
The bowl must be installed before the agitator. Lower the bowl support completely. Position the bowl so its alignment bracket fits into the bowl retainer, and the locating pin on the front of the bowl support aligns with the holes on the sides of the bowl.
How to Install Bowl Guard Attachment
To install the bowl guard, stack the two plastic rims on top of each other. Place the stainless steel ring on top. Align all holes and tighten with screws. Then, place the guard on the mixer and secure it with the three provided large screws.
How to Install an Attachment
With the bowl installed and fully lowered, place the attachment into the bowl. Push it up onto the attachment shaft and turn clockwise to seat the shaft pin into the slot of the attachment shank. Always disconnect the power before installing accessories.
Additional Information: The mixer includes two #5 hub grinder plates (3/16" and 5/16" hole diameters). The pasta roller attachment can process dough to thicknesses between 1/64" and 3/32".
