Operating Instructions
NOTE: Read the instruction book carefully before using the tool.
Assembly & Operation
Before Operation
- Installing the battery pack: See Fig. A1 [Description: Shows how to insert the battery pack into the tool.]
- Removing the battery pack: See Fig. A2 [Description: Shows how to release and remove the battery pack.]
- Checking the battery condition: See Fig. A3 [Description: Illustrates checking the battery status, likely via an indicator light on the battery pack.]
- Charging the battery pack: See Fig. A4 [Description: Depicts the process of connecting the battery pack to the charger.]
Operation
NOTE: The power nozzle has two working modes: spray nozzle and short lance kit only; or spray nozzle and short lance kit used together with extension lance.
- Working mode 1: Attaching spray nozzle and short lance kit to the sprayer: See Fig. B [Description: Shows the spray nozzle and short lance kit being attached to the main sprayer body.]
- Working mode 2:
- Attaching extension lance to the sprayer: See Fig. C1 [Description: Illustrates connecting the extension lance to the sprayer.]
- Attaching spray nozzle and short lance kit to the extension lance: See Fig. C2 [Description: Shows the spray nozzle and short lance kit being attached to the end of the extension lance.]
Filling the Tank
Add water and desired chemical solution directly into the tank, or use a premixed solution from a separate container. If using solid or powder chemicals, mix them completely with water to avoid clogging the spray nozzle.
WARNING: Do not overfill the tank. Chemicals used must be as thin as water; thicker chemicals will not spray properly.
WARNING: Before filling, always remove the battery pack. Wipe up any spills before inserting the battery pack.
NOTE: Store chemicals out of children's reach to prevent serious personal injury.
- Attaching the hose adapter to the 1L bottle (WP650 only): See Fig. E [Description: Shows the hose adapter being connected to the 1L bottle.]
- Filling the 1L bottle: Remove the tank and fill away from the sprayer. Clean the exterior and any spills before replacing the tank.
- Attaching the hose adapter to the sprayer: See Fig. F1, F2, F3 [Description: Illustrates connecting the hose adapter to the sprayer.]
- Attaching the shoulder strap (WP651 only): See Fig. G1 [Description: Shows how to attach the shoulder strap to the sprayer.]
- Attaching the 5L tank (WP651 only): See Fig. G2 [Description: Depicts connecting the 5L tank to the sprayer. Check connection by gently pulling the hose.]
Starting
Press the lock-off button, then pull the trigger to begin operation. (See Fig. H1) [Description: Shows the sequence of pressing the lock-off button and then pulling the trigger to start spraying.]
NOTE: For first use or after long-term storage, remove the spray nozzle/lance. It is recommended to pour water directly into the hose adapter with the machine on to empty air. Ensure water sprays out before working. (See Fig. H2) [Description: Illustrates preparing for initial use, possibly by priming the system with water.]
Spraying
WARNING: Spray away from body. Wear proper protective equipment, including mask and protective eyewear. Do not spray on windy days. (See Fig. I1, I2) [Description: Demonstrates correct spraying posture and technique, emphasizing safety and environmental considerations.]
Operating Tips
Follow these tips carefully to avoid serious personal damage:
- WARNING: Do not use self-heating, alcohol-based chemicals, hydrogen peroxide, strong caustic chemicals, or strong acids in the sprayer.
- Do not combine chemicals.
- Ensure the spray area is well-ventilated.
- WARNING: To reduce fire or explosion risk, never use liquids with a flash point below 131°F (55°C). Know the chemical contents and follow manufacturer's safety instructions.
- CAUTION: To reduce electric shock risk, do not touch the nozzle during use.
- WARNING: Never point the spray end at yourself or others. Keep body parts out of the spray pattern.
- Never point the sprayer at people or animals. Always spray in a downwind direction.
- CAUTION: Avoid spraying on windy days, as mist can drift onto unintended surfaces.
- Do not use the sprayer in extremely high temperatures; heat can evaporate mist before it settles.
- WARNING: Never smoke, eat, or drink while operating the sprayer.
- Do not leave residue in the tank after use. Clean after each use.
- Before working, wait approximately 10 seconds after turning on the unit.
Maintenance
Remove the battery pack before performing any adjustment, servicing, or maintenance.
Inspect the product for damaged or worn parts before each use. Do not operate if damaged parts are found. Contact your supplier or manufacturer for replacement parts.
Filter Screen Maintenance
Remove the hose adapter to access the filter screen. (See Fig. J1, J2) [Description: Shows removing the hose adapter to reach and clean the filter screen.] Rinse parts with clean water before reassembly. Ensure the hose adapter is tightened securely to prevent water suction issues.
WARNING: Contact support for any other maintenance.
Cleaning/Storage
Clean thoroughly after each use. Run clean water through the sprayer to clear residue. Do not store chemicals in the tank. Store and dispose of chemicals properly. Drain all water from the machine and hose before storage. Never use flammable chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents. Avoid solvents on plastic parts. Clean the housing with a soft brush and clean cloth. Store the machine in a dry place, out of children's reach. Do not place objects on the machine. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembly and storage. Store in a frost-free place and in an upright position.
Troubleshooting
Symptom | Possible Causes | Solution |
---|---|---|
Machine turns on but does not draw water or has insufficient pressure. | Water inlet is loose. | Retighten the water inlet. |
Filter screen is missing. (See Fig. J1, J2) | Contact Worx service agent for a replacement filter screen. | |
Filter screen is blocked. (See Fig. J1, J2) | Clean the filter screen regularly. | |
