Chapter 3: Installation Instructions
3.1 Application Scenarios
The VC-TR41(N) supports a tracking distance of 2-14m, with a recommended tracking distance of 8m. A diagram illustrates this setup. A note advises avoiding posters, screens, or displays with human figures in the background to maintain optimal tracking performance.
3.2 Preparation Before Installation
The installation and connection of high-definition cameras require specialized skills. If you are installing it yourself, please follow the installation steps carefully. Ensure the equipment is securely mounted and prioritize your safety to avoid accidents.
3.2.1 Ensure the safety of the installation environment. Do not install the unit in unreliable ceiling structures or places prone to falling, to prevent accidents.
3.2.2 Please check if all accessories in the box are complete. If any items are missing, please contact your supplier and inform them of the missing items. Keep the box and its contents intact.
3.2.3 Before installation, you must plan the camera's mounting location. Please consider the following items when planning the installation location:
- Confirm the placement of the subject to be captured.
- Confirm that the camera maintains an appropriate distance from other light sources.
3.3 Installation Instructions
3.3.1 Mounting the Camera on a Desktop
3.3.1.1 Installation Precautions
- Please install the unit on a flat desktop.
- When moving the camera, do not grab the camera head with your hands.
- Do not manually rotate the camera head. Improper rotation may cause camera malfunction.
3.3.2 Mounting the Camera on a Ceiling/Wall/TV Mount

4.1 Remote Control

Chapter 5: Network Function Settings
5.1 Camera Network Connection
5.1.1 Network Connection
There are two common network connection methods:
- Connection via Switch or Router: A diagram shows the camera connected via network cable to a switch/router, which is then connected to a computer. Example: The camera's default IP is 192.168.100.100. To connect correctly, set the computer's IP address to the same subnet, e.g., 192.168.100.101.
- Modifying Computer Network Settings: A screenshot of Windows TCP/IP Properties is shown, with fields for IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway.
5.1.2 Viewing via Browser
Open a web browser and enter the camera's IP address in the address bar. Example: http://192.168.100.100 (default IP address).
Login Credentials: Enter administrator username and password.
Note: For initial login, refer to 5.2.11 System - User Modification of Default Password.
Lumens Network Camera:
- Username: admin
- Password: 9999 (default)
5.1.3 Viewing with RTSP Player
You can use free software like VLC, Quick Time, or PotPlayer for RTSP streaming. The RTSP connection address format is as follows:
- RTSP Stream 1 => rtsp://camera IP:8557/h264
- RTSP Stream 2 => rtsp://camera IP:8556/h264
- RTSP Panoramic Lens => rtsp://camera IP:8553/h264
If password authentication is enabled, the RTSP connection address is:
- rtsp://Username:Password@camera IP:port/h264
For enabling password authentication, refer to 5.2.8 System Settings - Network.

5.2.1 Live View - PTZ Control

5.2.5 Streaming

NDI: NDI is only applicable to VC-TR41N. Refer to 5.2.6 for NDI settings.
5.2.6 Stream - NDI (For VC-TR41N Only)
Details NDI settings, including Camera ID, Group Name, NDI HX support (HX2/HX3), Encode Format, Multicast, IP Setting, and Discovery Server.

Configures output settings: Resolution, HDMI Format (YUV422/RGB), Privacy Mode (UVC), and Overlay (Date/Time, Custom Text).

5.2.11 System - Date & Time
Sets camera date and time, either manually or via synchronization. Displays current camera/computer date and time, and allows setting the display format and synchronization method.
5.2.12 System - User
Manages user accounts: add, modify, or delete user accounts. Username and password support 4-32 characters. Only English letters (upper/lower case), numbers, and a mix of these are supported; special symbols or underscores are not allowed. Authorization Mode: Set management permissions for new users. User types include Administrator, Operator, and Viewer, with different permission levels for viewing, settings, and account management. Note: Performing a Factory Reset will clear user data.

Configures control settings: Control Port (RS-232/RS-422), Baud Rate, Protocol (VISCA/Pelco D), VISCA Address, and Tracking LED Status.

Chapter 7: Safety Instructions
When setting up and using the digital PTZ camera, please follow these safety instructions:
1 Operation
- 1.1 The product's operating environment temperature range is 0~40 degrees Celsius. Use within the recommended operating environment; do not use near water or heat sources.
- 1.2 Do not tilt or place the product on unstable carts, surfaces, or tables.
- 1.3 When operating the plug, clear any dust from the plug. Do not use plugs with multiple sockets, as this may cause sparks or fire.
- 1.4 Do not block the vents or openings on the product's casing, as they are for ventilation and to prevent overheating.
- 1.5 Do not open or remove the casing yourself, as this may lead to electric shock or other hazards. For repair services, please contact qualified service personnel.
- 1.6 In case of the following situations, unplug the product's power and contact qualified service personnel for repair:
- If the power cord is worn or damaged.
- If the product has been exposed to liquid, rain, or water.
2 Installation
- 2.1 The four screw holes on the bottom of the camera body (M4x10mm) can be used to fix it to a flat surface with screws.
3 Storage
- 3.1 Do not place the product's power cord where it can be easily stepped on, to prevent damage to the cord or plug.
- 3.2 During thunderstorms or when the product will not be used for a long time, unplug the power cord.
- 3.3 Do not place the product or accessories on vibrating or hot objects.
- 3.4 The product label is attached to the bottom of the unit; ensure it remains intact for future reference.
4 Cleaning
- 4.1 Before cleaning, unplug all cables. Wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Do not use alcohol or volatile solvents for cleaning.

This product contains button cell batteries. Swallowing button cell batteries can cause severe internal burns within 2 hours, leading to death. If swallowed or if battery contents come into contact with the body, seek immediate medical attention. Keep batteries out of reach of children (whether new or used). If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
