3.2 Installation Steps

The following figures are for reference only. The installation method may vary with scenarios.

3.2.1 Wall Mount

NOTE!

The wall mount bracket should be purchased separately. Please consult your technical support for the recommended model.

Step 1: Prepare Mounting Location

  • Paste the drill template on the wall with the arrow upward and perpendicular to the floor.
  • Use a Ø6mm to Ø6.5mm drill bit to drill two 30 mm-depth holes on the marked positions. Be careful not to damage cables in the wall.
  • Insert the expansion bolts into the two holes.

Textual description of diagram: The diagram shows a drill template being placed on a wall, indicating an "UP" direction. Two circular holes are marked for drilling, and a drill with a Ø6.5mm bit is depicted. The square hole is identified as a leading-out hole, and other holes are fixing holes.

Step 2: Attach Bracket

  • Fasten the expansion bolts to the bracket with two M3.5 x 25mm countersunk self-tapping screws.

Textual description of diagram: The diagram shows a mounting bracket being attached to a wall using screws.

Step 3: Connect Cables

  • Connect the network cable and other cables to the cable interfaces correctly, and then lead the cables out from the cable groove.
  • Fix the tail cable cover (with rubber cushion facing inward) onto the door station with two M2.5 x 5mm countersunk screws.

Textual description of diagram: The diagram shows the rear of the door station, highlighting the Network interface, Cover screw hole, Cable interface, and Cable groove. The tail cable cover is shown being attached.

Step 4: Mount Door Station

  • Align the slots on the door station with the four holes of the bracket, and then secure them with four M3 x 8mm countersunk screws.

Textual description of diagram: The diagram illustrates the door station being mounted onto the wall bracket using screws, showing alignment of slots and holes.

3.2.2 Recess Mount

NOTE!

The recess bracket and sunshield should be purchased separately. Please consult your technical support for the recommended model.

Step 1: Fix Recess Bracket

  • Ensure that the wall has enough space to mount the bracket. The bracket size is 179mm in height, 87mm in width, and 43mm in depth.
  • Paste the drill template (shipped with the bracket) on the wall with the arrow upward.
  • Use a Ø6mm to Ø6.5mm drill bit to drill two 30 mm-depth holes on the A position. Be careful not to damage cables in the wall.
  • Insert expansion bolts into the two holes.
  • Drill round holes on the bracket to lead cables according to the wiring in the wall.
  • Lead two M3.5 x 25mm countersunk self-tapping screws through the bracket holes to fix the bracket on the wall.

Textual description of diagram: Two diagrams show the recess bracket templates with dimensions and an "UP" arrow. Another diagram illustrates drilling two holes labeled "A" on the wall for bracket fixing.

Step 2: Insert Sunshield

  • Insert the sunshield from the rear side of the door station.

Textual description of diagram: The diagram shows the sunshield being inserted into the rear of the door station.

Step 3: Connect Cables

  • Connect all cables. See step 3 in Wall Mount.
