Operating the Vacuum Cleaner
If the brush clings to floors (e.g., carpet, mat, bedding) or does not spin properly, change the suction power to ‘MIN’ or 'MID' mode.
- #8 Power [power-button] On/Off: Pressing the power button starts operation in ‘MID’ mode. When the wet brush is assembled, operation starts in 'WET' mode.
- Controlling Suction Power: Use the [plus-button] to increase and the [minus-button] to decrease suction power. The suction power control buttons do not work in WET mode. 'JET' mode: Hold the [+] button down for 3 seconds while in ‘MAX’ mode. 'JET' mode is not displayed separately on the screen.
- #9 Checking the Display: Indicators show: 01 Clogged (dustbin, pipe, or suction part), 02 Spinning brush stuck (foreign matter in brush), 03 No Filter (washable micro filter not assembled), 04 Suction power (current level), 05 Wet brush cleaning mode (when wet brush is assembled). If indicators 01, 02, or 03 blink and the vacuum stops, refer to the maintenance section.
Using the Accessories
If the vacuum operates with the spinning brush not working, check for excessive force or foreign matter clogging the brush. Refer to the troubleshooting section.

Notes and Cautions
Battery Usage
- NOTE: If the vacuum cleaner does not work after charging, try changing the battery. If it still doesn't work, contact a Samsung service center. When purchasing a battery, check for the genuine Samsung logo and name (VCA-SBTA60).
- CAUTION: Do not disassemble the battery or wall mount. Do not apply heat to the battery or put it in fire. The battery is for this product only; do not use for other appliances. Removing the battery during operation may cause malfunction. If the battery is removed while the motor is operating, it may not work for 30 seconds after re-attachment for safety. Battery charging/usage time may shorten with use. Replace the battery when it no longer charges or runs down quickly. Use only manufacturer-provided wall mount and batteries. Ensure the battery is inserted correctly. Discard dead batteries in a collection box for recycling. If not using the vacuum for a long time, detach the battery. Insert the battery until it clicks to ensure firm attachment; otherwise, it may fall and cause damage or injury.
- Do not drop or strike the battery or subject it to shock.
- Do not disassemble the battery or create a short circuit across terminals.
- Battery leaks can occur under extreme conditions. If liquid contacts skin, wash with water. If it gets into eyes, flush with clean water for 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
- To protect the motor and battery, the vacuum may not operate below 5°C or above 45°C.
Operation
- NOTE: If excessive force is applied to a brush or foreign matter is caught in the spinning brush (drum), the brush may stop working to protect the motor or vacuum. Turn off the vacuum, remove foreign matter, then turn it on. If it doesn't start, turn it off and on again. Static electricity may occur based on humidity, temperature, or floor material. If it happens repeatedly, contact a Samsung service center.
- Please charge the battery fully: Before first use or after a long period of non-use. When the battery level indicator is low and blinks.
- If not using the vacuum for a long period, unplug the wall mount and detach the battery. The battery will slowly discharge when not charging or in use.
- Recharge the battery when the level is low. Leaving it low for extended periods degrades performance.
- Clean the multi-use wet pad gently with washing soap.
- Exposing the wet pad to heat or softener may modify it and degrade performance.
- The multi-use wet pad can be machine washed, but boiling may modify or discolor it.
- Use genuine Samsung Electronics wet pads.
- Using the wet brush without a wet pad voids warranty and incurs service fees. Contact Samsung service for additional multi-use wet pads. Check model name VCA-SPA90 for single-use wet pads.
- CAUTION: Do not touch the spinning brush (drum) while it is working; your hand could be caught, causing injury. Before using the wet brush, detach the wet pad, add water, and reattach it. Do not use the vacuum on items that scratch easily (TV/monitor screens).
