Installation Precautions

  • If you have problems installing the wall mount, contact a Samsung service center. Injury or malfunction from improper installation may not be compensated.

Power Related Precautions

WARNING:

  • When installing the wall mount, do not bend the battery charger excessively or place heavy objects on it. Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.
  • If there is dust or water on the power plug's pin or contact point, wipe carefully. Otherwise, abnormal operation or electric shock may occur.
  • Do not pull the cord or touch the plug with wet hands.
  • Do not plug the wall mount into an incorrect voltage source, a multi-plug outlet, or a power strip. Do not leave the battery charger on the floor; attach the cord close to a wall. Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.
  • Do not use a damaged power plug, battery charger, or loose outlet. Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.
  • If the battery charger is damaged, have it replaced by a Samsung authorized service center. Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.

Operation Precautions

WARNING:

  • Do not touch the charging terminal of the vacuum or wall mount with metal objects (chopsticks, screwdrivers, forks, knives, etc.). Otherwise, malfunction or electric shock may occur.
  • Ensure battery terminals of the wall mount do not contact conductors (bracelets, watches, metal rods, nails, etc.).

Notes and Cautions

Battery Usage

NOTE:

  • If the vacuum does not work after charging, change the battery. If it still doesn't work, contact a Samsung service center.
  • When purchasing a battery from a Samsung service center, check for the genuine Samsung logo and battery name (VCA-SBTA60).

CAUTION:

  • Do not disassemble the battery or wall mount.
  • Do not apply heat to the battery or put it in a fire.
  • The battery is for this product only; do not use it for other electronic appliances.
  • Removing the battery during operation may cause malfunction.
  • If the battery is removed while the motor is operating, it may not work for 30 seconds after reattachment for safety.
  • Charging time and usage time may shorten with increased use. Replace the battery when it no longer charges or runs down quickly.
  • Use only the manufacturer-provided wall mount and batteries.
  • Before inserting the battery, confirm its correct direction and orientation.
  • Discard dead batteries in a battery collection box for recycling.
  • If not using the vacuum for a long time, detach the battery.
  • When attaching the battery, insert until it clicks to ensure it is firmly attached. Otherwise, it may fall, causing damage or injury.
  • Do not drop or strike the battery or subject it to shock.
  • Do not disassemble the battery and avoid short-circuiting terminals.
  • Battery leaks can occur under extreme conditions. If liquid contacts skin, wash with water. If it gets into eyes, flush with clean water for 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
  • To protect the motor and battery, the vacuum may not operate below 5°C or above 45°C.

Operation Notes

NOTE:

  • If excessive force is applied to a brush or foreign matter is caught, the brush may stop to protect the motor/vacuum. Turn off, remove the matter, then turn on. If it doesn't start, turn off and on again.
  • Static electricity may occur depending on humidity, temperature, or floor material. Contact Samsung service if it happens repeatedly.
  • Please charge the battery fully:
    • Before first use or after a long period of disuse.
    • When the battery level indicator is low and blinking.
  • If not using the vacuum for a long period or going away, unplug the wall mount and detach the battery. The battery will slowly discharge when not charging or in use.
  • When the battery level is low, recharge it. Prolonged low levels can degrade performance.
  • Clean the multi-use wet pad gently with hands and washing soap.
  • Exposure of the wet pad to heat or softener may modify it and degrade performance.
  • The multi-use wet pad can be machine washed, but boiling may modify or discolor it.
  • Use only genuine Samsung wet pads.
  • Using the wet brush without a wet pad may void warranty and incur service fees.
  • For additional multi-use wet pads, contact Samsung service. For single-use wet pads, check model VCA-SPA90.

CAUTION:

  • When the spinning brush is working, do not touch it. Your hand could be caught, causing injury.
  • Before using the wet brush, detach the wet pad, add water, then reattach it.
  • Do not use the vacuum cleaner on items that can be scratched (TV/monitor screens, etc.).

Maintenance Notes

NOTE:

  • Brush wheels can scratch floors. Check wheels before use. If foreign matter on wheels cannot be removed easily, contact Samsung service.
  • If the wet brush interior is clogged with large foreign matter, spinning speed decreases or stops.

CAUTION:

  • Storing in sunlight for long hours may deform or discolor parts. Dry parts in the shade after cleaning.
  • Do not clean the brush with water, as it can cause deformation or discoloration.
  • Unplug the wall mount before cleaning it.
  • If suction reduces continuously or the vacuum overheats abnormally, replace the ultra fine dust filter.
  • After cleaning the dustbin, metal mesh grille filter, or washable micro filter with water, dry in the shade. Heat may cause malformation.

Troubleshooting

Before calling for service, review the problems and solutions below. If issues persist, visit www.samsung.com or call Samsung Customer Care. Service calls for non-defects may incur charges.

ProblemsSolutions
The vacuum cleaner does not work.
  • Check battery level and charge.
  • Ensure the product is off, then press the power button.
  • Check for blockages in the pipe, dustbin, or brush.
  • Verify the washable micro filter is inserted correctly.
  • If not used for a long time, charge the battery.
  • If the battery is dead, replace it.
Suction force decreases suddenly and the vacuum makes a vibrating sound.
  • Check for foreign matter clogging the brush, dustbin, or pipe and remove it.
  • Check if the pipe, dustbin is full of dust; empty if necessary.
  • Check if the filter is dirty; clean it if so.
The vacuum cleaner cannot be charged.
  • Confirm the voltage provided to the wall mount matches requirements.
  • Check if the vacuum cleaner is on and if the battery level indicator LED is lit.
  • Check for foreign matter (dust) on the charging terminal. Remove with a cotton swab or soft cloth.
The spinning brush (drum) inside a brush does not work.
  • When the spinning brush stuck display is on, turn off the vacuum, check for foreign matter clogging the brush, remove it, and restart.
  • Check if the vacuum cleaner is turned on, then turn it off and on again.
  • For Soft Action Brush and Wet brush, if the overheating prevention device activates, allow about 30 minutes for the motor to cool.
An odor is coming from the air outlet or filter.
  • Empty the dustbin and clean filters frequently.
  • A new product may have a slight odor for the first 3 months.
  • Frequent use can lead to accumulated dirt or dust causing odor.
  • Replacement filters are available at Samsung service agents.
Cleaning is finished but small dust particles come out of the brush.
  • After cleaning, operate the vacuum for 10 seconds or more to suction up small dust particles.
Vacuum cleaner stops operation during cleaning.
  • The overheating prevention device may stop operation temporarily due to:
    • A full dustbin.
    • Clogged suction part or brush.
    • Extended use of the Extension Crevice Tool.
  • After correcting the cause, turn the product on again. (Ambient temperature may affect this.)
Static electricity occurs when cleaning a thick and soft mat.
  • Certain mat materials (childcare, noise prevention) can cause static electricity.
  • Move the brush on a normal floor for a while, then clean again; static electricity should disappear.

This Vacuum cleaner is approved for the following directives: The Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, The EMC Directive 2014/30/EU.
