IV. Troubleshooting
1. APP can't be registered successfully
- Check if the mobile phone's network is normal.
- Tick the software service agreement and privacy policy.
- Check your spam folder for the verification code.
- Use WiFi to register if the mobile network fails. If both mobile network and WiFi prompts cannot obtain the server address, check if other software functions normally.
- During installation, allow the app to access your location and all permissions; the system will automatically select the best server.
- If issues persist, uninstall and reinstall the app, ensuring all necessary permissions are granted during installation.
2. Unable to connect to the network
2.1 Unable to connect to WiFi:
- Enable DHCP on your router.
- Ensure the camera is not blacklisted in the router's MAC settings.
- Turn off the 5GHz WiFi band on your router. (Contact your router manufacturer if you cannot disable 5GHz WiFi).
- After connecting to 2.4GHz WiFi, verify your mobile phone can access the internet.
- Confirm your mobile devices are connected to the same network router as the camera.
- If the network is normal, reset the camera and reconnect.
2.2 Unable to connect to wired:
- Enable DHCP on your router.
- Ensure the camera is not blacklisted in the router's MAC settings.
- Connect the network cable to your computer first to check the computer's IP address. If the IP address is set manually, go to the router settings and enable the DHCP server.
- After enabling the DHCP server, verify your computer can access the internet normally. (If the computer displays DHCP mode, it has obtained an IP address and can access the internet).
- Connect the network cable to the device and reset the connection.
2.3 WiFi password reason
- Verify the camera's connected WiFi password matches the router's WiFi password.
- Check if the entered WiFi password contains spaces or special characters (e.g., @, #, %, &).
2.4 Disconnected 5GHz WIFI, unable to connect to WiFi:
- Turn off the 5GHz network and keep the 2.4GHz network active.
- Disconnect and restart the router, then restart the camera.
- Ensure the WiFi name does not contain the word "5Ghz".
3. Camera matches WiFi successfully, but cannot hear the camera's voice
- Reset the camera, then power it off and reconnect it (resetting removes local data).
- Place your phone as close as possible to the camera and router during connection.
- Turn off the 5GHz WiFi.
4. No pop-up message for motion detection alarm
- In your mobile device's system settings, enable permissions for the app to receive push notifications.
- Some Android phones may not receive alarm push notifications.
- Turn on motion detection within the app.
- SMS and email reminders are not supported at this time.
5. Motion detection messages prompt frequently
- If motion detection sensitivity is too high, changes in light can also trigger alarms.
- Reduce alarm sensitivity (low level is recommended).
6. After inserting SD, it displays damaged
- Before inserting the SD card, disconnect the power.
- Connect the power after plugging in the card to start.
- The SD card must be formatted on a computer before use.
- Choose a genuine SD card when purchasing.
7. Watch videos with the same camera on different devices
