This guide provides instructions for setting up your ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 dual-band gaming router.

Setup Steps
01 Prepare Your Modem
- Unplug the modem's power cable or DSL modem. If your modem has a backup battery, remove it. [unplug]
- Connect your modem to the router's 2.5G/1G WAN port using the provided network cable.
- Power on the modem. Plug the modem into a power outlet and then turn it on.
- Check your modem's indicator lights to ensure the connection is established.
02 Install Your Router
- Connect the AC adapter to the power port (DCIN) and press the power switch. [power symbol] The power LED will light up when the hardware is ready.
- If you use DSL for internet access, you will need the username and password provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to configure your router.
Setup Method 1: Via the ASUS Router App
- On iOS or Android, open the app store, search for ASUS Router, and download the app. [App Store logo] [Google Play logo]
- On iOS or Android, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, then connect to the network named with the default SSID displayed on the label on the back of the router. You can also scan the QR code on the label to connect to the default SSID.
- Launch the ASUS Router app and follow the instructions to complete the setup.
Network Name (SSID): ASUS_XX
* XX corresponds to the last two digits of the MAC address. You can find these on the label on the back of your router.
Setup Method 2: Via a Web Browser
- [Wired] Connect your computer to the router's LAN port using an additional network cable.
- [Wi-Fi] Connect to the network named with the default SSID displayed on the label on the back of the router, 'ASUS_XX'.
- Open an internet browser. You will be automatically redirected to the ASUS setup wizard. If not, go to http://router.asus.com. Follow the instructions to complete the setup. [welcome symbol]

The maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the bands 5250-5350 MHz and 5470-5725 MHz shall be such that the equipment still complies with the e.i.r.p. limit.

Safety Notices
- Use this product in environments with ambient temperatures between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F).
- Refer to the rating label on the bottom of your product and ensure your power adapter complies with this rating.

All cables used to connect peripherals must be shielded and grounded. Operation with cables connected to peripherals that are not shielded and grounded may result in interference to radio and television reception.
