Read Rules for Safe Operation and Instructions Carefully.
⚠ WARNING
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
- This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Do not leave the fan running unattended.
- Keep electrical appliances out of reach from children or infirm persons. Do not let them use the appliances without supervision.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- When the fan was assembled, the rotor blade guard shall not be taken off anymore.
- Prior cleaning unplug the fan.
- The rotor guard shall not be disassembled/opened to clean the rotor blades.
- Wipe the fan enclosure and rotor blade guard with a slightly damp cloth.
RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
- Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the grille when fan is running.
- Disconnect fan when moving from one location to another.
- Be sure fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
- DO NOT use fan in window, rain may create electrical hazard.
- Household use only.
- Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the grille (for PFS40A4BBB/PFS40A4BWW models).
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Name of Components
The fan consists of the following main components: Motor, Motor shaft, Rear grill, Pole, Base, Right-angle bolt, Front grill, Blade, Lock nut of blade, and Lock nut of grill. Assembly involves aligning and securing these parts.
Base Installation
Align the column with the groove on the base and fix them together using a right-angle bolt. It is recommended to remove all parts from the component before performing installation.
Front and Rear Guard Installation
- Align Screw Holes on the outer ring of both the Front and Rear Guards, with the Positioning Clip aligned.
- Press down all the Buckles to fasten the Front Guard with the Rear Guard. At the Screw Holes, tighten the separated screw and nut.
- To install the blade: First, screw the lock nut of the blade anticlockwise. Then, install the blade onto the motor shaft. After installing, pull the blade to rotate to ensure it can rotate normally.
- To install the rear grill: Screw the lock nut of the grill clockwise, and in the meantime, fix the rear grill.
OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Remote Controller
The remote controller typically features the following keys:
- ⏻ ON/OFF KEY: Switches the fan on or off.
- ⏻ TIMER KEY: Touched repeatedly to set the air delivery time. For example, to set for 7 hours, touch the key so that pilot lamps for 1, 2, and 4 hours light up (1+2+4=7 hours). The set time decreases gradually by one hour. Do not press the TIMER key for continuous operation; in this case, all pilot lamps will be off.
- ⏻ SPEED KEY: When the fan runs in normal or ECO mode, press repeatedly to choose from 5 different speeds. When in natural or sleep mode, press repeatedly to choose from 3 different speeds.
- ⏻ MODE KEY: Press 'M' to select the operating mode. The sequence is Normal → Natural → Sleep → ECO → Normal wind. The light indicates the current mode state.
NOTE: Use manganese or alkaline AAA batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Pay attention to battery polarity (+ and -). Do not dispose of batteries in fire; they may explode or leak. Do not mix old and new batteries, or alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), and rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
Effective Range of Remote Control: within 5 m distance and 30-degree deflection in front of the product.

- Plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. Thoroughly remove soap film with a dry cloth.
- Be sure not to allow water or other liquid to enter inside the motor.
USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
This section details how to replace the fuse located in the plug:
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Open the fuse cover by sliding the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.
- Remove the fuse carefully. Insert the tip of your tool into the fuse slot (close with the terminal), then gently and slowly pry the fuse. If it feels tight, try several times and pry the fuse little by little. Once one side of the fuse has been pried, you can remove the fuse entirely.
- Risk of fire. Replace the fuse only with a 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse.
- Close the fuse cover by sliding the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug.
- Risk of fire. Do not replace the attachment plug. It contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard the product if the attachment plug is damaged.
Notice:
- When replacing the fuse, do not operate suddenly or overexert, or else the product may be damaged or cause an accident.
- If you find it hard to operate, ensure you are following the correct procedure.
