- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
- This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

Installation Instructions
Name of Components
The fan consists of a motor shaft, motor, rear grill, front grill, blades, pole, base, and a right-angle bolt. The motor connects to the pole, which connects to the base. The rear grill attaches to the motor, followed by the blade, and then the front grill. A knob tightens the motor to the pole.
Base Installation
Align the column (pole) with the groove on the base and fix them together using a right-angle bolt. Remove any pre-installed parts from the component before performing installation.
Front and Rear Guard Installation
For PFS45A5BBB:
- Screw the lock nut of the grill clockwise to fix the rear grill.
- Install the blade onto the motor shaft. The blade has an indentation and a locating pin for correct alignment.
- Lock the blade using the blade lock nut, turning it anticlockwise.
- Install the front fan cover.
- After installing, pull the blade to rotate it to ensure it can rotate normally.
For PFS40A4BBB/PFS40A4BWW:
- Align the screw holes on the outer ring of both the front and rear guards, with the positioning clip aligned as illustrated.
- Press down all the buckles to fasten the front guard with the rear guard. At the screw holes, tighten the separated screw and nut.
- Install the blade onto the motor shaft.
- Lock the blade using the blade lock nut, turning it anticlockwise.
- Install the front fan cover.
- After installing, pull the blade to rotate it to ensure it can rotate normally.
- Screw the lock nut of the grill clockwise to fix the rear grill.

User Servicing Instructions (Fuse Replacement)
This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the following instructions:
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Open the fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.
