How To Use Max Repel
Step 1: Insert Mat
Remove one or two FLEXTAILGEAR Max Repel Mats from the wrapper and insert them under the device's black grill.
Step 2: Activate Device
Press and hold the switch for 2 seconds to activate the Max Repel.
Step 3: Establish Protection Zone
It can take up to 10 minutes for the zone to be fully established.
Step 4: Turn Off Device
When finished using the Max Repel, press and hold the switch for 2 seconds to turn it off. Allow the device to cool completely.
To Switch Mode
After activation, the initial mode is Camping Mode (Low Mode).
Outdoor Mode (High Mode)
Press the switch once. The mode indicator light turns red. This mode provides a 30FT (9-meter) protection zone.
Camping Mode (Low Mode)
Press the switch once (after activating Outdoor Mode). The mode indicator light turns green. This mode provides a 10FT (3-meter) protection zone.
To Replace Max Repel Mat
Ensure the device is off and cool. Push the used mat out by inserting a fresh one.
Charge Your Device
Charge your mobile device via TYPE C cable in emergency. The device itself can also be charged using the Type-C cable.
Power Indicator
The power indicator lights show the remaining battery level.
How To Place The Device
- Place the device in the center of the desired repellent zone.
- If it is windy, position the device upwind of your location.
- Do not cover the device while it is in use.
- For larger areas, use two mats or multiple devices.
Warnings
- Do not remove the battery from the equipment housing.
- Do not use the product if the battery pack is damaged.
- Do not submerge the product in water for extended periods.
- Close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
- Do not insert fingers, metal, or other foreign objects into the product.
- If there is any leak, odor, or deformation in the battery pack, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it properly.
- Do not use in a closed room or tent without proper ventilation.
- Do not modify or attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact FLEXTAILGEAR for service.
- Do not leave the product with a dead battery for long time. Recharge Li-ion battery products at least once every 3 months.
- Do not expose the repellent to temperatures above 140°F (60°C).
- Store the device in a dry, room-temperature environment when not in use.
Warranty
Flextailgear provides a one-year warranty for defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase. If a defect is discovered, return the product to the place of purchase or the address specified by Flextailgear for repair or replacement.
For products outside the one-year warranty period, Flextailgear reserves the right to refuse technical support and repair services.
Warranties Exclusions
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, unauthorized modifications, improper use, accident, negligence, damage, or use for unintended purposes.
This warranty provides specific rights, and other rights may vary by state.
Flextailgear shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product, except as otherwise stated.
