Remote Control Overview
The remote control allows you to operate the projector. Key buttons include:
- Power: Turns the projector On/Off.
- Keystone: Adjusts the vertical keystone correction to make the image rectangular.
- Navigation Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK, Menu, Back): Used to navigate menus and select options.
- Source: Selects the input source (e.g., HDMI, VGA).
- Volume: Adjusts audio volume.
- Picture Mode: Selects predefined picture settings.
- Bright Boost: (Note: This feature may not be supported on all models).
- 3D: Controls 3D settings.
- Invert: Inverts the image display.
- Mute: Mutes the audio.
- Auto: Automatically adjusts the picture for VGA input.
- Light Mode: Adjusts lamp brightness settings.
- Color Management: Adjusts color settings.
- Eco Blank: Temporarily blanks the screen to save power.
- Sharp: Adjusts image sharpness.
Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the remote, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the compartment.
Connections
Connect your video sources and audio devices to the projector's input terminals:
- Computer Input (VGA): Connect to a computer's VGA output using a VGA cable.
- RGB Input: Typically refers to the VGA input.
- D-Sub 15-pin (female): The connector for the VGA input.
- Video Signal Input (Composite): Connect to a composite video source using an RCA cable.
- Digital Signal Input (HDMI): Connect to digital sources like Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, or computers via HDMI cables. The projector has two HDMI inputs.
- Audio Signal Input:
- Audio In: Connect the audio output from your computer or other sources.
- PC Audio Jack: A 3.5mm audio jack for computer audio.
Output Terminals:
- Speaker: Built-in speaker (Stereo, 2 watts).
- Audio Signal Output: An audio output jack to connect external speakers.
Control Ports:
- RS-232 Serial Control: For professional control systems.
- IR Receiver: For the remote control signal.
- USB Mini-B: For service or firmware updates.
Projector Setup and Positioning
Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Connect the power cable to the projector and a power outlet.
- Connect your video source (e.g., computer, Blu-ray player) using the appropriate cable (HDMI, VGA, etc.) to the projector's input terminals.
- Connect audio cables if necessary.
- Turn on the projector by pressing the power button on the projector or remote control.
- Turn on your connected video source.
- Use the remote control's 'Source' button to select the correct input.
- Adjust the projector's focus and zoom using the remote control or lens rings for a clear image.
- Use the 'Keystone' function on the remote control to correct any trapezoidal distortion if the projector is not perfectly perpendicular to the screen. Press and hold 'Back' for 2 seconds to reset keystone.
Projector Placement Options:
- Front: Projector is placed in front of the screen, facing the audience.
- Front Ceiling: Projector is mounted upside down on the ceiling in front of the audience.
- Rear: Projector is placed behind the screen, facing the audience (requires a transparent screen).
- Rear Ceiling: Projector is mounted upside down on the ceiling behind the screen.
