Safety Precautions
WARNING!
- RISK OF ACID: Batteries contain acid that can destroy clothing and burn the skin. Use extreme caution. Wear eye protection and gloves. Avoid spilling or dripping electrolyte.
- RISK OF EXPLOSIVE GASES: Batteries vent explosive hydrogen gas, especially when discharged and being jump-started. Keep all sparks, ignition sources, and flames away from a battery.
- PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS: Remove metallic watches, rings, and necklaces or chains to avoid electrical arcing. Do not allow clamps to touch each other or to touch metal.
Charging the Battery
General Charging Instructions:
- Use only the provided Charging Adaptor or Charging Plug.
- Do not overcharge the unit.
- Keep the unit at full charge. Recharge immediately after each use or if idle for 1-2 months.
- Do not allow the battery to be entirely depleted to maintain battery lifetime.
- Ensure the fuse is inserted in the fuse slot on the front face of the Jump starter.
- It is recommended to fully charge the unit immediately after purchase and before first use.
- The red LED indicator illuminates while charging. When charging is complete, press the battery status check button; the green LED will stay illuminated until the charging plug is removed.
- Do not charge for more than 38 hours with the AC Charging Adaptor.
- The DC Charging Plug is for intermittent charge only (max 2 hours continuously). The car engine should keep running during charging.
- Do not charge the unit on a boat, boat ramp, or dock due to electrical shock risk.
- It is recommended to charge the unit in an upright position.
- Store clamps in their holsters when not in use or while charging.
Charging from the AC/DC Charging Adaptor:
- Switch off the unit before charging.
- Insert the AC charger plug into the unit's charging port.
- Plug the AC charger into an AC receptacle.
- The battery charging indicator will turn RED while charging.

- After charging, unplug the DC charger accessory plug first, then the DC charger from the charging port.
- Press the battery status check button. The Green battery status LED indicates a full charge.
- If a full charge cannot be obtained, use the AC/DC Charging Adaptor or recharge with the DC Charging Plug after the unit has cooled down.
Disposal of Battery:
This product contains a sealed, non-spillable lead-acid battery. It must be recycled or disposed of properly according to state or local government regulations.
Jumpstart an Engine
WARNING!
- DO NOT allow clamps to touch each other or metal when the power switch is ON.
- Use only for boosting KNOWN GOOD lead acid batteries.
- For modern vehicles with electronic management systems, refer to the owner's handbook for specific jump-starting procedures.
- Ensure systems have the same voltage outputs and avoid sparks to prevent severe damage to vehicle charging systems.
- Inspect batteries and the jump starter before connection. Do not jump-start a damaged or frozen battery. Ensure vent caps of non-sealed batteries are secure.
- Apply parking brakes and turn off lights and all electrical loads on the vehicle.
- Failure to follow these instructions may cause damage or explosion.
- Use safety goggles to protect eyes.
Safe Boost Operation:
- Turn off the vehicle ignition and all accessories (radios, lights, air conditioners, cellular phones).
- Set the emergency brake and put automatic transmission vehicles in park.
- Ensure the Jump Start System Power Switch is OFF.
- Determine the vehicle's battery terminal polarities. The positive (POS, P, +) terminal is usually larger than the negative (NEG, N, -) terminal. Refer to the vehicle's owner's manual if unsure.
- Determine if the vehicle uses a negative or positive grounded system. Most vehicles use a negative ground system (negative terminal grounded to chassis).
- Never allow clamps to touch each other or the same piece of metal.
- Connection Procedure:
- Negative Grounded System:
- Connect the positive (+) red clamp to the positive (POS, P+) terminal of the vehicle battery or remote positive terminal.
- Connect the negative (-) black clamp to the vehicle chassis, engine block, or a non-moving metal part verified to be grounded. Do not clamp directly to the negative battery terminal, carburetor, fuel lines, or sheet metal body parts.
- Positive Grounded System:
- Connect the negative (-) black clamp to the negative (Neg, N-) ungrounded terminal of the vehicle battery.
- Connect the positive (+) red clamp to the vehicle chassis, engine block, or a non-moving metal part verified to be grounded. Do not clamp directly to the positive battery terminal, carburetor, fuel lines, or sheet metal body parts.
- Negative Grounded System:
- The Reverse Polarity Indicator will illuminate RED for wrong connection and GREEN for right connection.
- When correct clamp connection is made, turn the Jump Start System Power Switch to ON.
- Allow 2-3 minutes of charging time. A second person may assist in holding the unit securely.
- Turn on the vehicle to attempt to start the engine.
WARNING!
Cranking the engine for more than 30 seconds at a time may overheat the starter motor. If the vehicle does not start within 30 seconds, call an auto electrician.
Disconnection Procedure:
- Standing as far away from the vehicle battery as practical, disconnect the clamps in reverse sequence to connecting procedure.
- For negative grounded systems, disconnect the negative (black) clamp first, then the positive (red) clamp.
- For positive grounded systems, disconnect the positive (red) clamp first, then the negative (black) clamp.
Use Compressor
CAUTION!
- This compressor is designed for occasional use only (less than 10 minutes).
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not leave unattended.
Importance:
During inflation and after completion, regularly check pressure with an accurate gauge.
Articles Inflation:
- Connect adaptor to connector, then close the thumb latch.
- Insert adaptor into the article to be inflated.
Tyre Inflation:
- Insert the connector to the tyre stem, then close the thumb latch.
- Check the TYPICAL INFLATION PRESSURE CHART for guidance.
- Turn the compressor switch ON.
- When desired pressure is reached, turn off the power.
- Remove the adaptor from the inflated article or tire.
Typical Inflation Pressure:
Avoid over inflating. NEVER EXCEED RECOMMENDED PRESSURE. Over-inflation may cause the item to burst and result in serious injury.

CAUTION!
If USB output is not intended for use, press the button to the OFF position. Otherwise, the battery will discharge slowly as enabled USB ports draw current.
Trouble Shooting
CAUTION!
Always seek professional help if in doubt.
- Check that all connections are firm if the jump starter does not operate.
- Ensure connections are clean and free from corrosion.
- Check the car type fuse on the front panel.
- Check the fuse within the cigarette lighter plug only if DC to DC charging fails.
System Protective Fuse Replacement:
- The 15Amp fuse in the back compartment powers the battery main for all applications.
- To check fuses, remove them and inspect the filament. Replace if it is melted.
- Replace with the provided spare fuse by pressing it entirely into the fuse holder until tight.
Cigarette Lighter Plug Fuse Replacement:
- Investigate the cause of fuse failure before replacing, as it is not common.
- Unscrew the tip of the plug and replace the provided spare glass tube fuse (10 Amp).
