If all LED indicators are constantly lit, other than the cleaning modes shown above, it indicates the device is performing a special task.
3.6 Cleaning Modes
- Smart Mode: The device will clean the pool floor and walls sequentially, and will also clean the water line while cleaning the walls.
- Floor Mode: The device will clean the pool floor by following an S-shaped path without climbing walls or cleaning walls.
- Wall Mode: The device will clean the pool walls by following a Y-shaped path and will also clean the water line simultaneously. The pool floor will not be cleaned in this mode.
- Waterline Mode: The device will move horizontally and clean along the pool's waterline. When it encounters corners or obstacles along the pool walls, it will descend from the waterline, move to a different wall, or bypass obstacles and continue cleaning.
Note: The device's cleaning path may be updated with firmware versions. For the most accurate information, please refer to the device's actual performance or the latest official manual.
3.7 Cleaning Intensity
- Energy-Saving Cleaning (ECO): Recommended for pools with low water turbidity and very few visible debris. ECO mode reduces the device's power consumption, extending battery life.
- Adaptive Cleaning (AUTO): Recommended if you are unsure about the pool's turbidity. AUTO mode automatically adjusts cleaning performance based on the pool's condition, optimizing the X1 Pro device's battery life while ensuring effective cleaning.
- High-Performance Cleaning (MAX): Recommended if there is high water turbidity and visible debris or clumps. MAX mode increases cleaning performance but also increases the X1 Pro device's power consumption, shortening battery life.
3.8 Filter Selection
Two filters of different thicknesses are available: the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter and the filter box. The replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter can capture small particles such as silt and some algae, typically from 3-10µm. If visible debris is minimal (e.g., stones, leaves, sand, debris, hair) and the water appears cloudy or has algae, it is recommended to use both the filter box and the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter. In case of significant visible debris, it is recommended to use only the filter box and not the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter.
3.9 Cleaning Process
- Press and hold the [Power Button] for 2 seconds to turn the device on/off.
- Briefly press the [Mode Button] to select one of the four cleaning modes: Smart Mode, Floor Mode, Wall Mode, and Waterline Mode. After selecting your desired cleaning mode, place the device in the pool without delay. After a short period submerged in water, the device will start the cleaning task of the selected mode.
- When the device is initially submerged in water, selecting a mode that includes cleaning the pool floor will trigger the mapping process. The device will clean along the pool floor contour to create an underwater map without climbing walls. After successful mapping, re-mapping for the same pool is not necessary. However, before each cleaning, the device needs to move briefly on the floor to reposition itself.
Once mapping is complete, the device will automatically recognize the pool's shape and initiate an S-shaped cleaning path while cleaning the pool floor. When cleaning is finished, the device will return to the waterline, come to the surface, and remain at the waterline for 5 minutes. Users can safely remove the device during this time.
If the device remains at the waterline for more than 5 minutes, it will return to the pool floor, staying near the wall. Users can attach the hook to any standard telescopic pool pole (not included) to extend, hook, and pull the device out of the water.
6. Before storing or charging the device, allow it to drain any stored water.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Filter Box
- Place the device on a flat surface and lift the top cover.
- Remove the filter box by lifting it by the handle.
- Press the latch on the filter box and lift the top cover handle to open it.
- Empty the filter box and remove the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter. Remove the A, B, C, and D latches on the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter's rubber strip from the retaining slot.
- Rinse the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter and the filter box separately. Rinse the inside and outside of the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter. Scrub by hand if necessary.
- After drying the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter and filter box, insert the filter into the filter box and place the filter box back into the device. Ensure that A on the filter box aligns with A on the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter. Pull up the four corners A, B, C, and D on the rubber strip sequentially. Ensure the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter is secured in the retaining slot. After installation, check that all rubber strips are properly seated in the retaining slot.
Notes:
- After each cleaning, remove the device from the pool without delay and clean the filter box immediately. Avoid leaving the device in the pool for extended periods.
- The replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter and filter box do not need to be dried after each cleaning and are only recommended to prevent odors caused by moisture.
- When drying or storing your device, it is recommended to store it in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, including the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter and filter box.
- The replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter can capture small particles such as silt and some algae, typically from 3-10µm.
- It is recommended to use a high-pressure water gun for thorough cleaning, to clean the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter and filter box. Some wear may be visible on the surface of the replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter after a few uses, but this does not affect its performance.
- The replaceable MicroMesh™™ ultra-fine filter is a consumable item and should be replaced every 30 uses to maintain effective filtration.
