Hardware Installation

Wall Mounting (Optional)

Follow these steps for wall mounting:

  1. Mark the wall for mounting holes. The mounting holes on the switch are spaced 73.5 mm apart.
  2. Drill holes at the marked locations. A 6 mm drill bit is recommended for inserting screw anchors.
  3. Insert the screw anchors into the drilled holes.
  4. Secure the switch to the wall using the provided mounting screws, passing them through the switch's mounting holes into the anchors.

Grounding (Recommended)

The UniFi Switch is grounded through the Power Adapter. For enhanced ESD protection, connect an ancillary ground wire:

  1. Loosen the ground screw on the switch and secure one end of a ground wire (not included) to this grounding point.
  2. Secure the other end of the ground wire to a grounding block or another suitable grounded structure.
