Safety Information
Risk of injury! Primary batteries (e.g., alkaline, zinc-carbon) can burst while charging. Never attempt to charge primary batteries. This charger is designed exclusively for NiMH rechargeable batteries.
The charger features integrated safety controls including:
- Safety shutdown control (6.5 hours for AA/AAA, 8 hours for 9V)
- Minus delta-V cut-off function
A slight warming of rechargeable batteries and the charger during the charging process is normal.
Important Precautions:
- Never charge batteries that are corroded, damaged, or leaking.

How to Use the Charger
Step 1: Insert Batteries
Insert rechargeable NiMH batteries (AA, AAA, or 9V) into the appropriate slots. Ensure each battery makes contact with both terminals. Observe correct polarity (+/-).
Step 2: Connect to Power
Plug the charger into a 230V EU power outlet. The charger is designed for worldwide use; use a country-specific adapter if necessary. [power outlet symbol]
Step 3: Charging Indication
The charger indicates the charging status:
- Charging: The display shows the charging progress. [charging symbol]
- State of Charge: Indicated by segments: 1 quarter circle (5-25%), 2 (26-50%), 3 (51-75%), 4 (76-100%).
Step 4: Charging Modes (9V & USB)
For 9V batteries, the 9V symbol will light up. [9V symbol] For USB charging, the USB symbol will be solidly lit. [USB symbol]
Step 5: Display Mode Descriptions
- a) Charging Complete: Indicates batteries are fully charged. [charging complete symbol]
- b) Charging: Indicates batteries are currently charging.
- c) Defective/Wrong Battery: An error indicator for a faulty or non-rechargeable battery (automatic recognition may take a few minutes). [error indicator]
- d) Processing: The charger is analyzing or preparing batteries.
- e) No Symbol / Error: Indicates a failure such as no contact or incorrect polarity.
The timer restarts each time the charger is plugged in. Removing batteries when the charger is unplugged is recommended.
