Operation and Safety Notes
This document provides essential information for the safe operation and maintenance of your Light-Up Christmas Village Scene.
Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of this high-quality LIVARNO home product. This instruction manual is an integral part of the product and contains important information regarding safety, use, and disposal. Please familiarize yourself with all safety information and instructions before using the product. Use the product only as described and for its intended applications. When passing the product on to others, ensure all documentation is included.
Intended Use
This product is suitable for private use only, intended for decoration in dry indoor rooms. It is not intended for commercial use. For indoor use only.

Safety Advice

WARNING! RISK OF LIFE AND ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN!
Never leave children unattended with the packaging material due to the risk of suffocation. Keep children away from the product. This product is a decoration article and not a toy. It is not suitable for children under 14 years of age and must be kept out of their reach. Do not use the product if you notice any signs of damage.
Never expose the product to high temperatures or moisture, as this may cause damage. Ensure the product is not subjected to mechanical load. For damage, repairs, or other problems, contact a qualified electrician. Do not place the product on sensitive furniture surfaces to avoid scratching.
CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING!
Do not operate the product while it is still in its packaging. The product contains no user-serviceable parts. The LEDs are not replaceable; if they fail, the entire product must be replaced. Do not connect the product electrically to another set of lights or directly to a 230V mains supply. Do not attach other objects to the product or fix it with clips or nails. Only suitable for indoor use.
Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries
DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed, seek immediate medical attention. Swallowing can lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death; severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit or open batteries/rechargeable batteries, as this can lead to overheating, fire, or bursting. Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water. Do not exert mechanical loads on batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Before First Use
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.
Inserting/replacing batteries (see fig. B)
To insert or replace batteries:
- Turn the product over and place it on a soft underlay to avoid scratching the surface.
- Loosen the screw 8 on the battery compartment cover 5.
- Open the battery compartment 6 by sliding the cover 5 against the direction of the switch 7 (refer to the indicated arrow).
- If necessary, insert new batteries and close the battery compartment 6.
Note: Ensure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment 6. Close the battery compartment cover 5 and securely tighten the screw 8.
Use
Your product is now ready for use.
- Connect the plug 3 to the connector 4.
- Attach the lamp holders 2 to the back of the houses (refer to fig. A).
Figure A illustrates the layout of the village scene, showing multiple houses connected by wires. It details the placement of each house and the connection points (1, 2, 3, 4) for power and linking the houses together.
Figure B demonstrates the battery installation process. It shows how to access the battery compartment (6) by removing a screw (8) and sliding the cover (5). It emphasizes correct battery polarity and securing the compartment.
Switching on and off
The switch 7 has three functions:
- TIMER: The product lights up for 6 hours, followed by an 18-hour pause. This cycle repeats daily.
- ON: The product lights up continuously.
- OFF: The product is switched off.
Cleaning and Care
Do not clean the product with water or other liquids. Use a feather duster for cleaning purposes.
Disposal
The packaging is made from recyclable materials and can be disposed of at local recycling facilities. Observe the markings on the packaging for waste separation (e.g., plastics, paper, composite materials). Contact your local refuse disposal authority for details on how to dispose of the product when it reaches the end of its useful life. Do not dispose of the product in household waste; use designated collection points. Faulty or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled. Return them and the product to available collection points.
Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of batteries/rechargeable batteries! Batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with domestic waste as they may contain toxic heavy metals. Dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
Warranty
This product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines. In case of material or manufacturing defects, you have legal rights against the retailer, which are not limited by this warranty. The warranty period is 3 years from the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt as proof of purchase. Report any damage or defects present at the time of purchase immediately after unpacking. LIVARNO home will repair or replace the product free of charge within 3 years if a material or manufacturing defect occurs. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, consumables (like batteries), or damage to fragile parts. The warranty is void if the product is damaged or used/maintained improperly.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your claim, please have your receipt and item number (IAN 459451_2401) ready. Contact the service department by telephone or email if functional or other defects occur. You may return a defective product postage-free to the provided service address, including proof of purchase and a description of the defect and when it occurred.
