Important Safety Instructions
Work and Storage Precautions
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from corrosive gases, explosive environments, conductive dust, fire sources, heat, and high voltage.
- Do not immerse the battery in water. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid static electricity, which can damage the protection circuit.
- Secure the battery in a stable environment and ensure reliable connector connections to prevent arcs and sparks.
- Handle the battery gently to avoid vibration, collision, or pressure shock, which could cause short circuits, high temperatures, or fire.
- Do not short-circuit or disassemble the battery.
- Maintain the battery in a half-charge state (40%-80% SOC) for optimal storage. Use non-conductive materials to wrap the battery to prevent accidental contact with metal.
- Dispose of discarded batteries safely; do not put them in fire or liquid.
Hazard Warning
- Strictly forbidden to crush, drop, collide, puncture, burn, or subject the battery to other destructive actions.
- Do not disassemble the battery, as improper disassembly can damage its protection function, leading to deformation, heating, smoking, or burning.
- Do not short-circuit the battery. Connecting positive and negative poles with conductive materials, or storing/transporting with conductive materials, is prohibited.
- Do not heat or burn batteries, as this can melt components, disable safety functions, cause electrolyte combustion, or lead to deformation, heating, smoking, or burning.
Emergency Treatments
- If electrolyte leaks and contacts skin or eyes, immediately wash with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
- Do not allow any person or animal to swallow any part of the battery or its contained substances.
Appearance
The battery features clearly marked terminals: Lithium battery negative terminal and Lithium battery positive terminal.
Description of Battery Appearance: The product is a rectangular battery pack. On its top surface, the negative and positive terminals are prominently labeled. Accompanying diagrams provide detailed dimensions and terminal specifications, including an M8 screw terminal.
Charging Operation
- General Checking: Thoroughly inspect all cables for damage. Ensure the mains supply is compatible with the charger and battery specifications.
- Connection: Turn off the charger before connecting it to the battery. WARNING: Verify battery polarity before connecting to the charger; reverse connection is forbidden.
- Power On: Connect the charger to the mains supply and turn it on.
- Standard Charge: Charge to 28.8V using a constant current of 40A (0.2C), then continue charging at 10A (0.05C) with a 28.8V constant voltage cutoff.
Note: All tests mentioned in this document are performed at 25±2°C.
Discharging Operation
- Preparation: Before discharging, ensure the load and equipment are turned off.
- Connection: Connect the battery to the load and equipment correctly. WARNING: Verify battery polarity before connecting to the load; reverse connection is forbidden.
- Power On: Turn on the load and equipment.
- Standard Discharge: After standard charging, discharge the battery with a constant current of 40A (0.2C) until the battery voltage drops to 20.8V.
Note: All tests mentioned in this document are performed at 25±2°C.
Connect in Series/Parallel
Series Connection
Connect batteries in series, supporting a maximum of 2 units.
Parallel Connection
Connect batteries in parallel, supporting a maximum of 4 units.
Description of Connection Diagrams: Visual aids illustrate series connection (positive terminal of one battery to the negative terminal of the next) and parallel connection (positive terminals connected together, and negative terminals connected together) for multiple battery units.
WARNING: When connecting batteries in series or parallel, use a multimeter to measure battery voltage. Voltages should be consistent, with a difference less than 0.2V. Connecting batteries in series/parallel when the voltage difference exceeds this range is forbidden.
Disclaimers
- Use EPEVER LiFePO4 batteries strictly according to product specifications to prevent fire or expansion.
- EPEVER does not guarantee performance or safety if batteries are used outside specifications.
- Improper use or storage leading to poor performance is not covered by warranty.
- Premature battery expiration may occur if the cycle life requirements are met.
Xiaoxiang Electric APP
The Xiaoxiang Electric APP is an independently developed lithium battery management application. It displays real-time data such as voltage, current, capacity, and temperature, and allows control over charge/discharge, SOC monitoring, and protection status. Advanced settings can be adjusted via background permissions to optimize battery health and safety.
The upgraded version offers an optimized interface, modular layout, and expanded parameters for a faster and more comprehensive user experience.
Using the APP
- Installation and Setup: Install the APP, enable Bluetooth and location services. Upon first launch, an account registration page will appear. Enter your mobile number, set a password, and confirm.
- Device Binding/Unbinding:
- Binding: When connecting via Bluetooth for the first time, the APP will prompt to bind the device. Grant necessary permissions for parameter modification. Once bound, other users cannot connect to the battery.
- Unbinding: Navigate to the 'My' interface, select the device, and click 'Unbind'. An account can be bound to multiple devices.
