How it Works
Monitor Ports and Controls:
- 1. HDMI port: For connecting video sources via HDMI cable.
- 2. USB-C2 port: For connecting computers or power supply.
- 3. USB-C1 port: For connecting computers, phones, or tablets, and power supply.
- 4. Headphone socket (jack): For audio output.
- 5. LED indicator light: Shows the monitor's power status.
- 6. USB-A 2.0 port: For connecting peripherals.
- 7. Power / Menu button: Turns the monitor on/off and accesses the on-screen menu.
- 8. - Button: Decreases values or navigates down in menus.
- 9. + Button: Increases values or navigates up in menus.
Note on USB-C ports: For optimal performance, connect notebooks to USB-C2. USB-C1 is intended for mobile devices. Connecting a notebook to USB-C1 may result in reduced brightness; connect the power supply for full brightness.
How to Connect
1. Laptop or PC with USB-C
Connection:
Connect the USB-C cable from the monitor's USB-C2 port to your computer's USB-C port.
Optional Power:
If power via USB-C2 is insufficient, switch to USB-C1 (designed for low power devices) or connect the included power supply.
2. Mobile devices with USB-C (phone / tablet)
Note: Not all devices are supported.
Connection:
Connect the USB-C cable from the monitor's USB-C1 port to your mobile device's USB-C port.
Optional Power:
If power is insufficient, attach the included power supply.
IMPORTANT: Ensure your device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and power delivery.
3. Devices with HDMI (no touch function)
Note: Additional power supply required (included).
Connection:
Connect the HDMI cable from the monitor's HDMI port to your device's HDMI port.
Connect the power supply to the monitor.
Remarks:
- For iPhones with a lightning connector, an additional adapter (not included) is required.
- Touchscreen function is not supported by iOS/iPadOS.
4. Devices with HDMI (with touch function)
Note: Additional power supply (included) and USB-A to USB-C cable (not included) required.
Connection:
- Connect the HDMI cable from the monitor's HDMI port to your device's HDMI port.
- Connect the USB-A to USB-C cable from your computer's USB-A port to the monitor's USB-C port (for touch function).
- Connect the power supply to the monitor.
Important: Always connect the data cable (HDMI and USB-A to USB-C) before connecting the power cable for the touch function to work.
Key Operation
Monitor Buttons:
- Power ON/OFF: Hold the power/menu button [7] to turn the monitor on or off. The monitor may turn on automatically when connected.
- Volume: Press the [+] [9] or [-] [8] buttons to adjust the volume.
- Brightness: Hold the [+] [9] or [-] [8] buttons to adjust the brightness.
- On-Screen Menu: Press the power/menu button [7] to switch to the on-screen menu.
On-Screen Menu Navigation:
- Switch between options: Press [+] [9] or [-] [8] to highlight an option.
- Select option: Press the power/menu button [7] to select the highlighted option.
- Return to previous menu: Hold the [-] [8] button.
On-Screen Menu Examples:
- Picture Menu: Adjusts settings like Brightness, Contrast, Tone, Saturation, and Sharpness. (Visuals show sliders for these settings).
- Colour Menu: Adjusts colour temperature (e.g., 9300K, 6500K, User) and RGB values. (Visuals show colour temperature presets and RGB sliders).
- Mode Menu: Selects display modes like Standard, Movie, Photo, Game, Scenery, HDR, DCR. (Visuals show icons for these modes).
- Other Settings Menu: Options include USB-C selection, FreeSync, signal source selection, and reset. (Visuals show icons for these settings).
- Exit Menu: Option to quit the menu.

Safety Precautions
- Consider monitor placement to avoid light reflections and interference.
- Use only the original power adapter to prevent electrical damage.
- Keep the monitor dry and away from water or damp environments.
- Clean with a dry cloth only; avoid solvents or petroleum-based fluids.
- Use only manufacturer-specified attachments/accessories.
- Unplug the monitor during lightning storms or when unused for extended periods.
- Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required for damage from spills, rain, moisture, abnormal operation, or drops.
- Do not remove covers, as this can be dangerous and may void the warranty. Only qualified personnel should service the monitor.
Warning: Improper use, adjustment, or control may lead to electric shock, short circuit, or mechanical hazards.
Verbatim Limited Warranty Terms
Verbatim warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase (excluding batteries). Defective products within the warranty period will be replaced at no cost. Return the product with the original receipt to the place of purchase or contact Verbatim. This warranty does not cover normal wear, damage from abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or incompatibility with specific computer software or hardware.
