Quick Start Guide
How it works
The Verbatim PM-14 portable monitor features several ports and indicators:
- 1. HDMI port: For connecting to devices via HDMI.
- 2. USB-C2 port: For computers or power supply.
- 3. USB-C1 port: For computers, phones, tablets, or power supply.
- 4. Headphone socket (jack): For audio output.
- 5. LED indicator light: Shows the status of the monitor.
- 6. USB-A 2.0 port: For connecting USB devices.
- 7. Power / Menu button: Turns the monitor on/off and accesses the on-screen menu.
- 8. '-' Button: Decreases values or navigates back.
- 9. '+' Button: Increases values or navigates forward.
Note: For optimal performance, connect your notebook to USB-C2. USB-C1 is intended for mobile devices; using it with a notebook may result in reduced brightness. Connect the power supply to ensure full brightness when using USB-C1.
How to connect
1. Laptop or PC with USB-C
Connect the USB-C cable from the monitor's USB-C2 port to your computer's USB-C port.
Optional: If power is insufficient, switch to the USB-C1 port or connect the included power supply.
2. Mobile devices with USB-C**
(Not all devices are supported)
Connect the USB-C cable from the monitor's USB-C1 port to your mobile device's USB-C port.
Optional: If power is not sufficient, attach the included power supply.
IMPORTANT: Ensure your device has a USB-C port supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode and power delivery.
3. Devices with HDMI
(Additional power supply required (included))
Connect the HDMI cable from the monitor's HDMI port to your device's HDMI port.
Connect the power supply to the monitor.
Remarks: For iPhones with a Lightning connector, an additional adapter (not included) is required.
Key operation
- Power ON/OFF: Hold the power/menu button (7) to turn the monitor on or off. The monitor will automatically turn on when connected.
- Volume: Press the '+' (9) or '-' (8) buttons to adjust the volume.
- Brightness: Hold the '+' (9) or '-' (8) buttons to adjust the brightness.
- On-Screen Menu: Press the power/menu button (7) to access the on-screen menu.
The on-screen menu allows adjustment of Picture settings (Brightness, Contrast, Eco modes, DCR, Sharpness), Colour settings (Colour temp, HUE, Saturation, Low blue light, Free sync, PCM), Audio settings (Volume, Mute), and Other settings (Language, HDR). The Input menu allows selection of Auto select, USB-C1, USB-C2, or HDMI.
- Switch between options: Press '+' (9) or '-' (8) to navigate through menu options. The selection will be highlighted.
- Select an option: Press the power/menu button (7) to confirm a selection.
- Return to previous: Hold the '-' (8) button to go back to the previous menu.

Safety
- Consider monitor placement to avoid surrounding light interference.
- Use the original power adapter to prevent electrical damage.
- Keep the monitor dry and away from water or damp environments.
- Clean with a dry cloth only; avoid solvents or petroleum-based fluids.
- Use only manufacturer-specified attachments/accessories.
- Unplug during lightning storms or prolonged periods of non-use.
- Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required if the apparatus is damaged (e.g., liquid spill, exposure to rain/moisture, abnormal operation, or dropping).
- Do not remove covers, as this can be dangerous and may void the warranty. Only qualified personnel should service the monitor.
Warning: Improper use, adjustment, or control may lead to electric shock, short circuit, or mechanical hazard.
Verbatim Limited Warranty Terms
Verbatim warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase. Batteries are excluded.
Defective products within the warranty period will be replaced at no cost. Return the product with the original cash register receipt to the place of purchase or contact Verbatim.
Product replacement is the sole remedy under this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or incompatibility or poor performance due to specific computer software or hardware.
VERBATIM IS NOT LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS OR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, FOR BREACH OF WARRANTIES OR OTHERWISE.
This warranty grants specific legal rights, and additional rights may vary by state or country.
