Troubleshooting
The doorbell does not work
- Make sure the correct battery (1 CR2032 battery) is installed with the correct polarity (+/-).
- The doorbell receiver might be out of range. Test the doorbell in a different location. (Doors and buildings such as walls can reduce the range.)
- Try pairing the doorbell receiver and the push button again. See "Pairing Method".
Range is reduced
- Metal structures including uPVC door frames can reduce the range. Do not install the doorbell receiver or push button on or near metal structures.
- Move the doorbell receiver closer to the push button.
- Weak batteries will reduce range. In cold conditions (below 5°C [41°F]), batteries may need to be replaced more often.
Cautions
- Before operating, make sure that the product components have not been damaged and have not been exposed to water or high temperatures.
- Do not open the PCB or repair it without professional guidance to avoid component breakdown.
- Operating range may be affected by environmental factors and nearby interference sources.
- Proper use will prolong the life span of the wireless doorbell effectively.
- Before drilling holes in walls, check for hidden electricity cables and water pipes. The use of a cable/pipe locator is advisable if in doubt.
