To Reduce the Risk of Injury to Persons: Grounding Installation
DANGER: Electric Shock Hazard
Touching internal components can cause serious personal injury or death. Do not disassemble the appliance.
WARNING: Electric Shock Hazard
Improper use of grounding can result in electric shock. Do not plug into an outlet until the appliance is properly installed and grounded. This appliance must be grounded. Grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current in case of a short circuit.
The appliance is equipped with a cord and plug. The plug must be inserted into a properly installed and grounded outlet. Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if grounding instructions are unclear or if you have doubts about proper grounding.
If an extension cord is necessary, use only a 3-wire extension cord.
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks from entanglement or tripping.
- If a long cord set or extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least equal to the electrical rating of the appliance.
- The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
- The long cord should be arranged so it does not drape over countertops or tabletops where it can be pulled by children or tripped over unintentionally.
Cleaning
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power supply before cleaning.
- Clean the oven cavity with a slightly damp cloth.
- Clean accessories with soapy water.
- Clean the door frame, seal, and neighboring parts with a damp cloth when dirty.
- Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers on the oven door glass.
- Cleaning Tip: For easier cleaning of cavity walls, place half a lemon in a bowl with 300ml (1/2 pint) water. Heat on 100% microwave power for 10 minutes. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth.
