1. Interleaved 2/5 Barcodes
Question: I cannot scan Interleaved 2/5 barcodes. Is there a way to enable them?
Answer: Please scan the provided setup code to enable this feature. For other barcode enable/disable needs, contact support@eyoyousa.com.

2. Pairing with Apps
Question: How do I pair this with Scoutly or other apps?
Answer: Pairing is not required. Once connected to your phone via Bluetooth, open the app. The scanner acts as input; scanned numbers will appear wherever your cursor is.
3. Battery Replacement
Question: My scanner is not holding a charge. Where can I get a replacement battery?
Answer: The battery is not replaceable. Please send a video of the issue to support@eyoyousa.com for assistance.
4. UPC-E to UPC-A Conversion
Question: Can it convert UPC-E to UPC-A?
Answer: Yes. Scan the following setup codes to enable the conversion:
- Convert UPC-E to UPC-A (Enable) [Barcode image]
- Convert UPC-E1 to UPC-A (Enable) [Barcode image]
- Do Not Convert UPC-E to UPC-A (Disable) [Barcode image]

5. Chromebook Compatibility
Question: Does it work with Chromebooks?
Answer: No, it is not compatible with Chromebooks.
6. Quantity Entry with Tabs
Question: Can you set tabs for quantity entry?
Answer: Please scan the provided setup code to enable this feature.

7. Turning Off Scanning Light
Question: Are there ways to turn off the scanning light?
Answer: The scanning light cannot be switched off. It is designed to help the scanner quickly identify barcodes.
8. Bluetooth Pairing Mode Indication
Question: How can I tell when the scanner is in Bluetooth pairing mode? Is there any indication?
Answer: When in Bluetooth mode, the screen will display "Open your terminal Bluetooth to pair".
9. iPhone Compatibility
Question: Does it work with an iPhone?
Answer: Yes, it works with iPhones, Samsung phones, and other brands.

Question: May I connect it to an iPad via Bluetooth and a PC via your USB adapter simultaneously?
Answer: No, you can only connect to one device at a time.
16. Turning Off Sound
Question: How can I turn off the sound?
Answer: You can adjust this directly on the scanner. Options include Volume OFF, Volume Medium, Volume Low, Vibration ON, Vibration OFF. Alternatively, scan the provided setup code to turn sound on/off.

17. Compatibility with Mobile Apps
Question: Does it work with Amazon Seller/Scoutly/eBay apps on iPhone?
Answer: Yes, it supports these applications.
18. Android Bluetooth Connection
Question: Can I use Bluetooth mode only without the receiver for an Android cellphone?
Answer: Yes. Press and hold the scan button for 8-10 seconds to turn on Bluetooth, or do it directly on the scanner.

19. USB Charging Cable Type
Question: Is the USB charging cable Type-C?
Answer: Yes, the scanner uses a Type-C interface data cable for charging.
20. Switching Scan Mode to Keyboard Mode
Question: How do you switch from scan mode to keyboard mode on this model?
Answer: To bring up the iOS keyboard on your phone, double-click the scan button. This function is not supported on Android devices.

21. Android Tablet Bluetooth Setup
Question: Will Bluetooth connect to an Android tablet via the Bluetooth option without going through settings? I want to set up hundreds of tablets using the scanner.
Answer: This is not supported. Setup must be done by long-pressing the scan button for 8-10 seconds or by scanning the provided code.

22. Scanner Type and Capabilities
Question: Is this a laser scanner? Can it scan 1D, 2D, or on-screen codes?
Answer: It is a 1D laser scanner and can only scan 1D barcodes. It does not support 2D or on-screen codes.
23. Direct Mobile Connection vs. Adapter
Question: Does this scanner work directly with a mobile phone without the adapter piece? Can the adapter piece be connected to Android or iPhone?
Answer: The adapter is for computer connections. For Android, iPhone, or tablet connections, use Bluetooth.
24. SPP Mode Support
Question: Does this scanner work in SPP mode?
Answer: It supports Bluetooth HID, SPP, and BLE protocols.
25. Scanner Not Working After Three Sounds
Question: My scanner is not working after three sounds.
Answer: This indicates no power. Please charge the scanner immediately.
26. Barcode Not Appearing
Question: When I connect the scanner to my phone or computer, I scan the code, but I don't see any change. Where is my barcode?
Answer: Ensure an Excel sheet, Word document, TXT file, or other program with a cursor and text input box is open on your device. Place the cursor in the input box before scanning.
27. Turning Off the Scanner
Question: How to turn the scanner off?

29. Connecting Without Bluetooth (2.4G Wireless)
Question: Is it possible to connect without Bluetooth? I want to connect the scanner to my computer using a 2.4G wireless receiver.
Answer: For PC terminals without Bluetooth, pair the scanner using the provided Dongle. Follow the Dongle pairing steps.

30. Water Resistance
Question: Is this product waterproof or IP-rated for outdoor use?
Answer: This product is not waterproof. Protect it from humid environments.
31. Adding Time as Prefix/Suffix
Question: How to add time as a prefix or suffix?
Answer: Follow the steps shown on the scanner display to select Time Prefix, Time Suffix, or Time None.

32. Synchronizing Scanner Time
Question: How to synchronize the scanner's time with the local time?
Answer:
- Scan the QR code to download and run the time synchronization software on your computer (Windows 7/8/10/XP). Ensure only the "time" checkbox is selected.
- Connect the scanner to the PC via a Type-C cable.
- Click the "Detecting" button to update the scanner's time.
