Measurement Guides
DC Voltage Measurement (Automatic Mode)
Connect the red probe to the V/Ω/Hz/etc. jack and the black probe to the COM jack. Connect the probes to the DC voltage source. The display will show the measured DC voltage.
AC Voltage Measurement (Automatic Mode)
Connect the red probe to the V/Ω/Hz/etc. jack and the black probe to the COM jack. Connect the probes to the AC voltage source. The display will show the measured AC voltage.
Resistance Measurement
Connect the red probe to the V/Ω/Hz/etc. jack and the black probe to the COM jack. Connect the probes across the component or circuit to measure resistance. The display will show the resistance value.
Continuity Test
Connect the red probe to the V/Ω/Hz/etc. jack and the black probe to the COM jack. Connect the probes to the circuit. If the resistance is below approximately 50 Ω, a buzzer will sound ?, and the display will show "0.0".
Capacitance Measurement
Connect the red probe to the V/Ω/Hz/etc. jack and the black probe to the COM jack. Connect the probes across the capacitor. Ensure the capacitor is discharged before measurement. The display will show the capacitance value (e.g., 50.00 µF).
Diode Test
Connect the red probe to the V/Ω/Hz/etc. jack and the black probe to the COM jack. Connect the probes across the diode (observing polarity). The display will show the forward voltage drop (e.g., 2.223V). If the diode is reverse-biased or open, the display may show "OL".
Non-Contact Voltage Detection (NCV)
Hold the multimeter near an AC voltage source. The NCV sensor (6) will detect the voltage, and the display will show "VALE" along with the NCV icon ⚡. A buzzer may sound.
Live Wire Detection
Place the probe tip near a suspected live wire. The multimeter will detect the live voltage, indicated by the "Live" display and the Live icon ⚡, accompanied by a buzzer sound.
