This document provides essential safety instructions and care guidelines for IKEA cribs. Please read and follow these instructions carefully for the safety of your child.
Keep these instructions for future reference.
Recommended mattress dimensions for this crib are 120x60 cm, with a thickness not exceeding 12 cm.
Warnings
- ⚠️ WARNING: Do not use the crib if any part is broken or missing. Contact your IKEA store for replacement parts. Do not substitute any parts.
- Never leave any objects in the crib.
- Do not place the crib near anything that could serve as a support point or present a risk of suffocation or strangulation, such as cords from curtains or blinds, etc.
- Do not use more than one mattress in the crib.
- Be aware of the risk posed by open fires or other heat sources, such as electric or gas radiators, near the crib.
- To prevent injury from falls, the crib should not be used when the child is able to climb out of it independently.
- Never use plastic bags or plastic sheets as mattress protectors due to the risk of suffocation.
- ℹ️ IMPORTANT: Children can become trapped between the crib and the wall. To prevent the risk of serious injury, the distance between the wall and the crib must always be less than 65 mm or greater than 230 mm.
Safety Information
- ❗ ATTENTION: Do not attach anything to the crib, such as hooks or handles, to prevent any risk of strangulation to your baby.
- Ensure all fixings are tightened properly before using the crib. Regularly check the fixings and tighten them when necessary.
- The safest position for the slatted bed base is the lowest.
- To prevent falls, the slatted bed base should be adjusted to the lowest position when the child can sit up unaided.
- The mattress thickness should allow for a distance of at least 50 cm between the top surface of the mattress and the top edge of the frame when the slatted bed base is in its lowest position, and at least 20 cm when in its highest position.
Maintenance
Clean the product with a cloth dampened in a mild soapy solution. Dry with a clean, dry cloth.
