Get Started

For the best experience, fully charge your battery before setup. Use the included Release Pin to remove the Mounting Plate to access the charging port. The LED on the front of the video doorbell will turn solid blue when 100% charged.

1. Download the Arlo Secure App

Download the Arlo Secure app from the App Store or Google Play. Alternatively, visit www.arlo.com/app/secure/.

2. Start Setup

In the Arlo Secure app, tap Devices, then tap the plus icon [+], and select Doorbells & Chimes > Video Doorbell 2nd Generation. Follow the on-screen prompts.

What's in the box

The package includes the following items:

Arlo Video Doorbell & Mounting Plate: The main doorbell unit and its base mounting plate.
Angled Bracket (Optional): A bracket designed to angle the doorbell for a better field of view.
Release Pin: A small pin used to detach the doorbell from its mounting plate.
Screw Kit: A collection of screws and wall anchors for installation.
USB Charging Cable: A cable for charging the doorbell's battery.
Wire Extension Kit: A kit for extending existing doorbell wiring if needed.

Accessing the Pairing Button and Charging Port

To access the Pairing Button and Charging Port, use the Release Pin to remove the Mounting Plate from the doorbell.
