- The SC31 Pro is a high-intensity flashlight. Do not point it at people, animals, moving vehicles, or flammable materials. Keep it away from children.
- Avoid dropping or hitting the flashlight.
- Install batteries correctly, ensuring the anode (+) side faces the head of the flashlight.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) Technology
ATR automatically adjusts brightness when the light's temperature reaches 45°C to prevent overheating. The temperature limit can be reset; contact Sofirn for details.
Low Voltage Protection (LVP)
LVP reduces the brightness to a lower level when the battery voltage drops below 2.8V. If the light is already at its lowest level, it will shut off.
Battery Specifications
Battery Types | Dimension & Quantity | Nominal Voltages | Can be used or not |

Simple UI Diagram Description
The diagram illustrates the states and transitions within the Simple UI. Key states include OFF, Ramp (with Up/Down control), Momentary Lockout (Moon/Low), and BattCheck. Actions like 1C, 1H, 2C, 2H, 3C, 4C, 5C, 10H, and 15C are shown as transitions between these states. A legend explains the button press notation.
The default UI is Simple UI, designed for ease of use and safety, limiting minimum and maximum brightness and blocking complex modes. Functions include:
- From OFF:
- 1C: On/Off
- 1H: Ramp up (or down if released less than a second ago)
- 2H: Momentary high mode
- 3C: Battery check mode (displays voltage, then turns off)
- 4C: Lockout mode
- 10H: Switch to Advanced UI
- 15C or more: Version check
- From ON (Simple UI):
- 1C: On/Off
- 1H: Ramp up (or down if released less than a second ago)
- 2H: Ramp down
- 2C: Go to/from highest safe level
- 3C: Toggle between Smooth Ramping and Stepped Ramping
- 4C: Lockout mode
- In Lockout Mode (Simple UI):
- 1H: Momentary moon
- 2H: Momentary low
- 4C: Unlock and turn on
- 4H: Unlock and turn on at low level
- 5C: Unlock and turn on at high level
Switching Between UIs
- From Simple UI to Advanced UI: While the light is off, perform 10H.
- From Advanced UI to Simple UI: While the light is off, perform 10C.
- From Advanced UI to Configure Simple UI: While the light is off, perform 10H.

Usage and Maintenance
- Disassembling the sealed head can damage the light and void the warranty.
- Sofirn recommends using high-quality batteries. Remove the battery if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent damage from electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
- To prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation, unscrew the tail cap by half a turn or remove the battery.
- Clean the threads every 6 months with a cleaning cloth. Applying silicone grease to the threads is recommended.
- Long-term use may cause O-ring wear. Replace worn O-rings with approved spares to maintain a proper water seal.
- Periodically clean battery contacts to ensure optimal performance. Dirty contacts can cause flickering, intermittent illumination, or failure to light up due to:
- Reason A: Battery needs replacement.
Solution: Replace the battery and confirm correct installation. - Reason B: Threads, PCB board contacts, or other contacts are dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
- Reason A: Battery needs replacement.
