Safety Instructions
- Follow all safety instructions carefully when using the appliance.
- Ensure mains voltage matches the appliance's rating label and the outlet is grounded.
- The appliance is equipped with a grounded plug to reduce electric shock risk. Contact a qualified electrician if the plug does not fit the outlet. Do not modify the plug or use adapters.
- Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any fixed part of the grill in water or other liquid. Keep electrical connections dry. Ensure hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on.
- WARNING: If the grill falls into water, unplug immediately. Do not reach into the water!
- Regularly inspect the power cord for visible damage. Damaged cords must be replaced by Cecotec's official Technical Support Service.
- WARNING: Do not use if the cord, plug, or housing is damaged, or after malfunction or dropping.
- Do not twist, bend, strain, or damage the power cord. Protect from sharp edges and heat sources. Keep cord away from hot surfaces and edges.
- The appliance is not intended for operation by external timer or remote control system.
- Turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Pull the plug, not the cord.
- This product is for domestic use only. Not for commercial, industrial, or outdoor use.
- Do not use unrecommended accessories, as they may cause injury or damage.
- The appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years old. Children aged 8 and above can use it under continuous supervision.
- Persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, can use it under supervision or after receiving safe usage instructions and understanding the risks.
- Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
- Keep the appliance and cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.
- Place the appliance on a dry, stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
- Do not use the appliance under the following circumstances:
- On or near electric/gas hobs, in heated ovens, or near open flames.
- On soft surfaces (e.g., carpets) or where it may tip over.
- Outdoors or in areas with high humidity.
- Near or below flammable materials (curtains, cloths, etc.) or under kitchen cabinets.

Before Use
- Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging for future transport or storage. Recycle packaging materials properly.
- Clean the cooking plates with a damp sponge or cloth.
- Dry them with a cloth or paper towel.
- For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with cooking oil or spray.
- NOTE: A slight burning smell or smoke may occur on first use due to manufacturing lubricants. This does not affect safety. Ensure good ventilation.
Operation
General Operation
- Close the grill and plug it in. The red power light will turn on.
- Turn the temperature dial clockwise to adjust heat. Start with a medium setting and adjust as needed.
- The green indicator light will turn on for preheating (approx. 3-5 minutes). It turns off when the desired temperature is reached.
- The grill is ready for use.
Contact Grill
- Turn the temperature dial to the desired position.
- Prepare burgers, boneless meat, or thin cuts and place them on the bottom plate.
- Close the top plate, leaving the lock halfway, so plates do not touch.
- When food is ready, open the grill with the handle. Remove food with a plastic spatula. Do not use metal tongs or knives, as they can damage the non-stick coating.
- Use as a contact grill for burgers, boneless meat, thin cuts, and vegetables.
- Ideal for quick cooking or healthier meals.
Press Grill
- Turn the temperature dial to the desired position.
- Prepare sandwiches and place them on the bottom plate, near the rear.
- Close the top plate to press the sandwich evenly. The top plate must be fully lowered.
- Cook for 3-6 minutes or until golden brown, adjusting time as preferred.
- When ready, open the upper plate with the handle. Remove the sandwich with a plastic spatula. Do not use metal tongs or knives.
- Use as a press grill for sandwiches, bread, and quesadillas.
- The grill is designed with a handle and hinges to adapt to food thickness for optimal results.
- When cooking multiple food items, ensure consistent thickness for even cooking.
Open Grill
- Place the grill on a clean, flat surface.
- With your left hand on the handle, press the release button on the right of the hinge with your right hand. Lift the upper plate until it rests flat on the countertop.
- Use for burgers, steaks, poultry (not recommended for bone-in chicken due to uneven cooking), fish, and vegetables.
- Cooking on the open grill doubles the cooking surface and is the most versatile method.
- Cook different foods separately without mixing flavors.
Extendable Feet
- Open the extendable feet at the bottom of the appliance to easily remove excess fat.
Removing Cooking Plates
- Unplug the grill and let it cool completely before removing plates.
- Place grill on a clean, flat surface.
- With your left hand on the handle, press the release button on the right of the hinge with your right hand. Lift the upper plate until it rests flat on the countertop.
- Locate plate release buttons on the front of the plate. Press firmly; the plate will pop up slightly.
- Grasp the plate with both hands, unhook from metal brackets, and lift off the base. Repeat for the other plate.
- The cooking plates are reversible.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Unplug and let cool before cleaning. Easier when slightly warm. Do not immerse in water or wash in a dishwasher.
- Wipe plates with a soft cloth to remove food residue. For stuck food, moisten with warm water and detergent, then clean with a non-abrasive pad.
- Plates can be detached and washed individually in a dishwasher.
- Do not use abrasive materials that could scratch or damage the non-stick coating.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth only. Do not use abrasive scouring pads. Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
- Do not place the product in the dishwasher.
- Remove and empty the drip tray after each use. Wash with warm, soapy water. Avoid scouring pads or harsh detergents. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Store the product in a cool, dry place.
- Use the lock to keep plates together for upright storage.

Technical Support Service and Warranty
- This product has a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, provided proof of purchase is submitted and the product is in perfect physical condition and used correctly as per the manual.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Product used outside its intended purpose, misused, damaged, exposed to moisture, liquids, or corrosive substances, or any fault attributable to the customer.
- Product disassembled, modified, or repaired by unauthorized persons.
- Faults due to normal wear and tear.
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects for 2 years, excluding consumable parts. Misuse voids the warranty.
