Computer Display Functions
I. Connection Method
Step 1: Power Supply
Connect the power adapter to the Type-C power port to supply power to the display.
Step 2: Connect Video Signal Cable
Connect the display using a Type-C to Type-C cable or an HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable.
II. Selecting the Appropriate Resolution
It is recommended to use a 4:3 aspect ratio computer resolution for optimal screen coverage on the Bigme B13. For example, in Windows 10, right-click on the desktop, select "Display settings", choose "3200*2400", and then "Keep changes". Adjust the system text scaling as desired; a higher percentage results in larger text.
III. Picture Quality Mode Settings
Adjust the "Picture Quality Mode" and "Contrast" settings to achieve the best picture quality. Contrast can be adjusted in different picture quality modes. For viewing images, it is recommended to reduce the contrast for more detail. For text, increase the contrast for better readability.
★ Optimizing Your Computer for Better ePaper Display Effect (Must Read)
- Ensure any eye-care software or night mode on your computer is turned off.
- It is recommended to set your computer's desktop background to a pure white theme. This helps reduce residual images, making the screen cleaner and text sharper. For Windows 10, right-click on the desktop, select "Personalize", go to the "Background" section, choose "Solid color", and select pure white.
- Set your computer to "Best performance" and disable visual effects. For Windows 10, right-click "My Computer" (or "This PC"), select "Properties", then "Advanced system settings". In the "Advanced" tab, under "Performance", select "Settings", choose "Adjust for best performance", and click "OK". To disable visual effects, go to "Ease of Access" settings, select "Display", and turn off "Show animations in Windows" and "Enable transparency effects in Windows".
Mobile Device Support
The Bigme B13 supports wireless screen mirroring and wired connections with mobile devices that have video output capabilities, such as some Huawei and Samsung phones. However, due to variations in mobile hardware and systems, full support or perfect compatibility is not guaranteed.
Connection Methods
- Wired Connection: Connect the power adapter to the Type-C power port for power. Then, use the provided Type-C data cable (or another Type-C cable with video transmission capabilities) to connect to the Type-C video interface for screen mirroring.
- Wireless Screen Mirroring: With the display powered on, double-click the button on the right side of the display to open the menu. In the "Input Swap" menu, switch to "Miracast" mode. Alternatively, use the remote control's "匄" (Input Source Switch) button to switch to "Miracast" mode. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your casting device.
【Important】 How to Properly Turn Off the Display
To protect your display and prevent potential screen damage, please follow these steps when the display is not in use: First, press the "<0xE5><0x90><0x8C>" (same/similar) button on the display to turn it off. Second, unplug the display's power cord to completely disconnect power.
