This document provides a comprehensive guide to the features and settings of the Bigme B751C AInote digital notebook.
14. E Ink Center
The E Ink Center allows customization of the E Ink display for optimal viewing and performance.
E Ink Center Settings:
- Refresh mode: Choose from HD 256 (clearer details for images/text), HD (clear display for general text), Normal(Fast) (faster refresh for images/text), Extreme (fast refresh with some detail loss), or Regal (least ghosting, clearer text/images for reading).
- Auto clean: Toggle switch to enable/disable automatic screen cleaning.
- Full refresh frequency: Adjust the number of operations before a full screen refresh.
- Color mode: Select from Default (general scenarios), Magazine (high-definition pictures), Comic (color-heavy, detail-light scenes), or Custom. This setting is invalid in Fast Mode and Extreme Mode.
- Dark enhancement: Slider to adjust color depth.
- Vivid enhancement: Slider to adjust color saturation.
- Color brightness: Slider to adjust screen brightness.
Operation: Pull down the status bar and select E Ink Center.
15. Global Handwriting
Global Handwriting enhances the handwriting experience across various applications.
Features:
- Handwriting mode: Optimizes handwriting speed for apps like WPS, OneNote, Evernote. Converts handwriting strokes into app strokes.
- Read mode: Supports handwriting annotations in reading apps (e.g., Kindle, WeChat Reading) and saves as PDF.
- Picture mode: Allows handwriting on any app interface, saving and sharing images via screenshots.
Customization:
- Type: Select Pen, Pencil, Brush, or BallPen.
- Erase: Options for Range or Clear All.
- Color: Select from a palette of colors.
- Line width: Adjust the thickness of the writing stroke.
Operation: Pull down the status bar, select Global Handwriting.
16. App Split Screen
App Split Screen enables multitasking by allowing two applications to run simultaneously.
Dual Functionality:
- Dual Notes: Read and take notes concurrently.
- Dual Meeting Records: Video and voice transcription at the same time.
- Dual Apps: Open and use two applications side-by-side.
Managing Split Screen:
- Swap Positions: Pull down the menu, select App Split Screen, then swap positions.
- Exit Split Screen: Pull down the menu, select App Split Screen, then exit.
Operation: Pull down the status bar, select App Split Screen.
17. Input Method Management
Manage and change the input methods for your device.
Changing Input Method:
- Navigate to [App Center] > [Settings] > [Input Method Management].
- Select your desired input method.
Bigme Input Method:
The Bigme Input Method offers a full keyboard layout, including:
- Keyboard: QWERTY layout, numbers, symbols.
- Function keys: Close, CHN (Chinese/English switch), [edit icon] (handwriting input), [microphone icon] (voice input), ?123, -, ., Down.
Input Method Features:
- Chinese/English Switch: Easily toggle between Chinese and English input.
- Handwriting Input: Write by hand, and the system automatically recognizes characters based on the selected language (e.g., Simplified Chinese or English).
- Voice Input: Use voice commands to input text.
Handwriting Language Selection:
In the handwriting interface, tap the [globe icon] to switch between supported languages for recognition, including Simplified Chinese, English, Traditional Chinese, Deutsch, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, and Arabic.
18. File Download and Transfer
Manage files and transfer data between your device and other platforms.
Cloud Reading and Writing:
This feature allows file transfer between your Smart Office Notebook, mobile phones, and computers.
- URL for Cloud Service: http://ereader.xrztech.com/BigmeCloud.html
- Transferring Files: Files, notes, and meeting records can be transferred between devices.
- Login Account: The login account for cloud reading and writing is the same as your Bigme smart notebook registration account.
Upload Process:
- Android/Harmony: Click the upload icon, select the file to upload to Cloud Reading and Writing.
- iOS: Transfer the file to iCloud, then transfer it to Cloud Reading and Writing via iCloud.
Cloud File Operations:
- Refresh: Synchronizes files uploaded to the cloud.
- Download: Downloads cloud files to local storage (saved in the Download directory).
- Delete: Deletes files from the cloud; deletion is permanent. Operate with caution.
Transfer Books over WiFi:
- Open the "Bookshelf" application, click "Import" (top right), and select "WIFI Import".
- Connect the smart office book and computer to the same WiFi hotspot.
- Enter the device's website address (from step 1) into your computer browser.
- Select a local file to import and upload.
19. USB Transfer
USB Transfer - Windows:
Connect your device to a computer using a USB data cable.
Troubleshooting (if computer fails to recognize device):
- Connect the device, then right-click on the computer desktop, select [Manage] > [Device Manager] > [Portable Device-Bigme].
- Right-click on [Bigme], select [Update Driver Software] > [Manual Search].
- Select [Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer].
- Choose [MTP USB Device], click [Next], wait for the update, then click [Close].
USB Transfer - Mac:
- Install the [androidfiletransfer.dmg] file.
- Double-click on [Android File Transfer] to open the folder window and transfer files.
20. Floating Ball
The Floating Ball provides quick access to customizable functions.
Navigation Ball Set:
- Open the floating ball: Toggle switch to enable/disable.
- Volume key to turn page: Toggle switch to use volume keys for page turning.
- The size of the floating ball: Adjust the ball's size.
Button Customization:
Customize up to 9 buttons with various functions:
- Key 1: Homepage
- Key 2: Back
- Key 3: Multi-task switching
- Key 4: Full refresh
- Key 5: Screenshot
- Key 6: Page key
- Key 7: Navigation Ball Set
- Key 8: Rotation
- Key 9: Shut down and restart
The 9 expanded buttons support common system operations and application switching.
Note: After modifying options, you may need to reopen the enable switch.

Settings Functions:
- Query device model, version, and other information.
- Make global system settings.

- Restore factory settings (Note: This will clear all user data; back up data first).
WIFI Settings:
- Select "Turn on WIFI" to search for available hotspots.
- Select the hotspot from the list, enter the password, and connect.
- The system bar will indicate successful connection.
- The device automatically records hotspot information for future connections.
Bluetooth Settings:
- Turn on the Bluetooth switch to search for nearby devices.
- Send connection requests to pair devices.
- Bluetooth requires pairing on both ends to function.
- Tip: Files received via Bluetooth are stored in the /Download directory.
Language Settings:
Configure the system's language from the available list, including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Deutsch, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, and Arabic.
Date and Time Settings:
- Choose automatic or manual time setting.
- Automatic setting syncs with network time when connected to the internet.
- Manual setting requires inputting date, time zone, and time.
- Set time display in 12-hour or 24-hour format.
- Adjust date display method according to usage habits.
Device Password:
Set a numerical password for the device. Ensure it is set when logged into your account, as it cannot be retrieved if forgotten.
Account Management:
Uniformly manage accounts needed for data synchronization during device usage.
Gesture Settings:
- Default gestures: Upward swipes from the bottom and left-right swipes from the sides are enabled. Up-down swipes from the sides are disabled by default.
- Customization: Upward swipes from the bottom can be customized for functions like returning home, going back, taking screenshots, switching tasks, clearing cache, and E Ink center. Up-down swipes from the sides can be enabled for volume, warm light, and cold light control.
