14. E Ink Center

The E Ink Center allows customization of the E Ink display for optimal viewing and performance.

  1. Navigate to [App Center] > [Settings] > [Input Method Management].

In the handwriting interface, tap the [globe icon] to switch between supported languages for recognition, including Simplified Chinese, English, Traditional Chinese, Deutsch, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, and Arabic.

18. File Download and Transfer

Manage files and transfer data between your device and other platforms.

Cloud Reading and Writing:

This feature allows file transfer between your Smart Office Notebook, mobile phones, and computers.

Transfer Books over WiFi:

  1. Open the "Bookshelf" application, click "Import" (top right), and select "WIFI Import".
  2. Connect the smart office book and computer to the same WiFi hotspot.
  3. Enter the device's website address (from step 1) into your computer browser.
  4. Select a local file to import and upload.

19. USB Transfer

USB Transfer - Windows:

Connect your device to a computer using a USB data cable.

Troubleshooting (if computer fails to recognize device):

  1. Connect the device, then right-click on the computer desktop, select [Manage] > [Device Manager] > [Portable Device-Bigme].
  2. Right-click on [Bigme], select [Update Driver Software] > [Manual Search].
  3. Select [Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer].
  4. Choose [MTP USB Device], click [Next], wait for the update, then click [Close].

USB Transfer - Mac:

  1. Install the [androidfiletransfer.dmg] file.
  2. Double-click on [Android File Transfer] to open the folder window and transfer files.

20. Floating Ball

The Floating Ball provides quick access to customizable functions.

Note: After modifying options, you may need to reopen the enable switch.

  1. Select "Turn on WIFI" to search for available hotspots.
  2. Select the hotspot from the list, enter the password, and connect.
  3. The system bar will indicate successful connection.
  4. The device automatically records hotspot information for future connections.

Configure the system's language from the available list, including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Deutsch, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, and Arabic.

Set a numerical password for the device. Ensure it is set when logged into your account, as it cannot be retrieved if forgotten.

This device meets government requirements for exposure to radiowaves. The guidelines are based on standards developed by independent scientific organizations. The SAR limit for the USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the phone kept 0mm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 0mm separation distance between the user's body and the back of the phone. Accessories like belt clips or holsters should not contain metallic components. Using accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements and should be avoided.
