Assembly Steps
Steps 1-3: Building the Main Frame
Begin by assembling the primary frame of the desk. Insert wooden dowels (101344) into designated holes on base and side panels. Connect these panels using screws (118331). Secure the structure further by inserting cam lock bolts (103430, 103114) and tightening cam locks (110126) in the corresponding holes.
Step 4: Bracket Assembly
Assemble a specific bracket or support piece by folding it into the correct configuration.
Steps 5-6: Drawer Assembly
Construct the drawer by connecting its front, back, and side panels. Slide the drawer bottom panel into the grooves and secure the drawer structure using screws (110519).
Steps 7-8: Drawer Slide Installation
Attach the drawer slides to the main desk frame and to the assembled drawer. Ensure correct orientation and secure with screws (100365).
Step 9: Back Panel Attachment
Attach the back panel to the desk structure, ensuring it is properly aligned, often sliding into grooves or secured with fasteners.
Steps 10-11: Top Support and Desk Top Preparation
Attach a horizontal support or brace across the top of the desk frame using screws (101344). Prepare the main desk top by inserting screws (118331) into its underside.
Step 12: Drawer Runner Attachment
Attach the drawer runners or guides to the interior sides of the desk frame. Use screws (100365) and potentially cam locks (113287) for secure attachment.
Steps 13-14: Cabinet Structure Assembly
Continue assembling the cabinet section by connecting panels using dowels (101344) and cam locks (110126). Further secure the cabinet structure with cam locks (103430) and bolts (103114).
Step 15: Drawer Runner Attachment to Sides
Attach drawer runners to the side panels of the cabinet section using screws (100365).
Steps 16-17: Component Attachment
Attach a metal bracket (labeled 'A') to the desk structure using screws (109221, 113287). Then, attach another panel to the frame using screws (118331).
Step 18: Back Panel Installation
Attach the back panel to the cabinet section.
Step 19: Cam Lock Installation
Install cam locks (110126) into the structure, preparing for the connection of additional panels.
Steps 20-21: Panel Connections
Insert wooden dowels (101344) into a panel and attach it to the desk frame. Subsequently, attach another panel to complete a section of the desk structure.
Steps 22-23: Cabinet Body Completion
Install cam locks (110126) and secure them with bolts to connect more panels, forming the main cabinet body. Attach side panels to the base structure using dowels (101344) and screws.
Steps 24-25: Attaching the Desk Top
Place the main desk top onto the assembled base structure. Secure it from underneath by inserting screws (118331) through the frame into the top panel. Two people are recommended to align and attach the desk body correctly.
Step 26: Cam Lock Preparation for Doors
Install cam locks (110126) into the cabinet section, preparing for the attachment of doors.
Step 27: Door Hinge Attachment
Attach the door hinges to the door panel using screws (121817). Then, attach the door to the desk frame by connecting the hinges.
Steps 28-29: Feet and Cap Installation
Attach the feet or support caps (153549) to the bottom of the desk structure using screws (108357). Affix decorative caps (108357) to cover screw heads, ensuring correct placement as indicated by diagrams (note: incorrect placement is crossed out).
Steps 30-31: Drawer Runner and Support
Attach the drawer runners to the drawer sides. Secure any additional supports or brackets to the desk structure using screws (100365).
Step 32: Door Hinge Adjustment
Attach the door hinges to the desk frame. The diagrams illustrate how to adjust the hinges for proper door alignment and closing. An information icon (i) indicates specific adjustment points.
Step 33: Shelf Insertion
Insert shelves into the cabinet section. Use wooden dowels (101514) to support the shelves in their designated positions.
Steps 34-35: Cable Management and Final Touches
