Product Overview
The Shuttle XPC Accessory WLN-M is a Wireless LAN Kit consisting of an M.2-2230 card with two antennas and matching antenna cables. It allows specific Shuttle XPC models from the XPC cube and XPC slim series to be equipped with Wireless LAN functionality according to IEEE 802.11n/ac in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. This combo solution also supports Bluetooth 4.0 simultaneously.

Advantages over typical WLAN USB sticks
- The M.2 card is installed internally into the PC, making it more secure against manipulation and theft.
- The integrated solution appears more aesthetically pleasing.
- For good efficiency, the antenna should be at least 6 cm long (= corresponds to half a wavelength at 2.4 GHz). Typical USB sticks have a disadvantage here.
- This WLAN card is a combo card that supports Bluetooth in addition to WLAN.
- The protocol of the used PCI-Express interface is less complex than USB and typically generates less processor load.
