1.1 Safety Instructions
Read all instructions before operating the device. Keep these instructions for future reference. Use only attachments and accessories specified or supplied by the manufacturer (e.g., power adapter, batteries).
- Refer to the electrical and safety information on the device before installation or operation.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this device to rain or moisture.
- Do not obstruct ventilation openings with objects like newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
- Do not expose the device to splashing and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the device.
- The symbol ⚡ indicates a risk of electric shock.
- To prevent injury, this device must be securely fixed to the floor/wall according to the installation instructions.
- There may be a danger of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly. Replace batteries only with the same type or equivalent.
- Do not expose batteries to excessive heat such as sunlight, fire, or other heat sources.
- Excessively high sound pressure from earphones or headphones can cause hearing loss.
- Listening to music at high volume levels for extended periods can damage hearing. To reduce the risk of hearing damage, lower the volume to a safe comfortable level and limit listening time at high levels.
- The mains socket or a coupler is used as the disconnect device; it must remain readily accessible. When not in use and if moved, take care of the entire power cord, for example, by securing it with a plastic tie. It should be free of sharp edges and anything that could cause abrasion. The absence of an indicator light on the device does not mean it is completely disconnected from the mains. To disconnect the device completely, the mains plug must be unplugged. When all indicator lights or similar are off, the device is completely disconnected from the mains. Pay special attention to environmental aspects for battery recycling.
- No open flame sources, such as lit candles, should be placed on the device.
- To prevent fire, always keep candles or other open flames away from this product at all times.
- Equipment with this symbol is a Class II appliance or has double electrical insulation. It is designed so that its electrical safety grounding is not required.
Precautions
- Never attempt to open the device. Touching internal parts can cause electric shock due to high voltages. Opening the device voids the warranty. Refer to qualified personnel for any maintenance or service.
- When connecting cables, ensure the device is unplugged from the mains. After turning off the device, wait a few seconds before moving it or disconnecting any equipment.
- It is imperative to use only an approved extension cord and compatible wiring that matches the power consumption of the installed equipment. Ensure the power supply corresponds to the voltage indicated on the electrical identification plate on the back of the device.
- Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect model. Disposing of a battery in a fire or hot oven, crushing or cutting a battery can cause an explosion. Leaving a battery in a very high temperature environment can cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas. A battery exposed to very low atmospheric pressure may cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
Operational Environment
- Do not install this equipment in a confined space like a bookcase or similar unit.
- Do not use the device near humid and cold areas; protect it from overheating.
- Keep away from direct sunlight.
- Use in a clean, dry, and dust-free environment.
- Do not place candles near ventilation openings to prevent foreign flammable materials from entering the device.
