T ige r6 0 0 -T S Print Scan Speed Settings Instructions Introduction This document explains how to specify the settings of the print scan speed for the Tiger600-TS. Read this document carefully before using the printer. Use this function to reduce the amount of dot offset in the Y direction that occurs between passes as shown in the figure below. [Y-direction offset between passes] As this function reduces the scan speed, the productivity of the printer is reduced in exchange for improved image quality. Setting the Print Scan Speed You can set the scan speed during printing. This setting is only enabled for [WF2] jobs and functions as shown in the table below. Print scan speed 100% 70% 50% WF1 (600dpi) (always 100%) Disabled Disabled WF2 (300dpi) Procedure 1. From the MPC menu, tap [SETTING 1] > [PRINT]> [Print Scan Speed]. · The [Print Scan Speed] settings screen appears. 2. Set the print scan speed. · You can select 50%, 70%, or 100%. 3. Tap [SET] to exit. - 2 - Adjustment If necessary, perform bi-directional adjustment according to the following procedure. 1. From the MPC menu, tap [SETTING 2] > [Bi-directional adjustment] > [WF2 pattern] · Print a bi-directional adjustment pattern. · The pattern is printed at the set print scan speed. 2. Enter the bi-directional adjustment value from the menu below according to the print scan speed you have set. · Only the adjustment menu corresponding to the selected print scan speed is enabled.
