The remote requires two AAA batteries (not included).

The URC 1916 features the following main buttons:
- SOURCE: AV Input
- I: Info
- LAST CHANNEL: Previous Channel
- BACK: Return, Back
- NETFLIX: Direct access to Netflix
Battery Safety: CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Use quality Alkaline batteries.
Initial Setup & Operation
Step 1: Set Up Your Television
For the majority of newer Hisense TVs, the remote should work directly. After inserting batteries, test some of the keys. If they work, your remote is ready.
Step 2: If Step 1 Does Not Work As Expected
If the remote does not work directly, follow these steps:
- Ensure your TV is on (not on standby).
- Hold down the RED and BLUE buttons until the LED blinks twice.
Power On/Off Procedure
Point the remote towards your TV and hold down the POWER button until the TV turns off. The remote sends a different Power signal every 3 seconds. As soon as the TV turns off, release the POWER button. The LED will blink twice. Test the rest of the keys on the remote.
Troubleshooting: Some Keys Not Working
If some keys still do not work as expected (or not at all) after initial setup:
- Point the remote towards the TV.
- Hold down one of the keys that is not working correctly (e.g., MENU).
- The remote will send a signal every 3 seconds. When the correct function is shown on the screen (e.g., MENU), release the key.
- The LED will blink twice, indicating the remote is ready to use for that function.
Learning a New Function
Your One For All remote can learn any function from your original (working) remote control.
- Place the original remote facing the One For All remote on a flat surface, maintaining a distance of 2-5 cm.
- To learn a function: Hold down the GREEN and YELLOW buttons until the LED blinks twice.
- Press the button on the original remote whose function you want to learn (e.g., the VOL+ button of your AUDIO device).
- Press the corresponding button on the One For All remote where you want to assign the learned function (e.g., the VOL+ button).
- Confirmation: Two blinks indicate success ("OK"). A long blink means you should try again from step 4.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any additional buttons you wish to learn.
- When you have learned all the necessary keys, press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds. The LED will blink twice.
Deleting a Learned Function
To revert a button to its original function:
- Hold down the GREEN and YELLOW buttons until the LED blinks twice.
- Press 976.
- Press the key you wish to reset twice.
- The LED will flash twice, and the key will revert to its original function.
