I. Basic Safety Rules

V. Product Assembly Steps
- Ensure at least 20 inches of clear space around the machine before and after.
- Open Clamp L and Clamp R by moving them as indicated.
- Place the blade and housing into Clamp R. For foil transfer, place the pen or foil transfer and housing into Clamp L. Note: Never place the blade and housing in Clamp L.
- Warning: Do not touch the blade tip with fingers to avoid injury and blunting.
- Connect the USB cable from the SMART1 to your computer.
- Plug in the power supply. Attention: Verify the machine's adapter voltage and current match your location before powering on to prevent hazards.
- Press the power-on button. The machine will automatically reset.
- Remove the cutting pad and peel off the white protective film.
- Align the material to be cut with the upper left corner of the cutting pad grid, ensuring the cutting surface faces upwards, and paste it onto the cutting pad.
- Place the material on the mat within the grid. Position the mat under the mat guides, ensuring the top edge is slightly clamped by both rollers simultaneously.
VI. Software Installation
- Download the appropriate software version from https://get.exact-cut.com/.
- Locate the software PSN code sticker in the accessory box before installation.
- Enter the provided link in your browser to access the registration screen.
- Click 'Register' after entering your registration information.
- Enter the PSN code from the sticker.
- Download the software version compatible with your computer system (Windows or Mac).
- Double-click the downloaded installation package.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to install the program: Agree to the license agreement, click 'Next', click 'Install'.
- After installation, enter your email address to log in to your account.
- Upon successful login, close the dialog box.

The ExactCut software provides a comprehensive interface for designing and cutting.
Main Interface
The software includes a menu bar, common options toolbar, left and right toolbars, and a canvas editing area.
Module Description
- Menu Bar: Features File, View, Edit, Arrange, License, and Help options.
- Common Options Toolbar: Includes tools for file creation, opening, saving, importing, cutting, copying, pasting, deleting, duplicating, undo/redo, and zooming.
- Left Toolbar: Contains Object Mode, Node Edit, Freehand Sketch, Zoom mode, Create Square, Simple Text, Release Paths, and Select this Color tools.
- Right Toolbar: Houses Page Size, Colors, Size/Position, Device Settings, Contour, Clipart, and Layers options.
- Canvas Interface: The main editing area where designs are created or imported.
VIII. Software Output Cutting
1. Normal Cutting Output
- Connect the machine to your computer using the USB cable.
- Open the ExactCut software and verify the machine connection.
- Create graphics within the software or import supported file formats (SVG, PNG, JPG).
- Selected shapes can be edited for size, rotation, etc.
- Set up the cutting mat in the software, choosing the appropriate size.
- Tip: Cutting mats are recommended for most materials, especially adhesive-backed rolls or single-layer materials.
- Configure cutting settings, including the cutting tool (default is Clamp R).
- Adjust the position of the graphic on the canvas as needed.
- Select the appropriate material from the material library.
- Note: If your material is not listed, you can add it by inputting the name, setting speed and pressure, and accepting the changes.
- Click 'Send to Cutter'.
- Place the material on the cutting mat, align it within the grid, position the mat under the guides, and ensure it's secured by both rollers.
- Press the 'LOAD' button on the machine when the material is ready.
- Press the 'START' button on the machine to begin cutting.
- When processing is complete, the software will prompt you to press the 'LOAD/UNLOAD' button.
- Press the 'LOAD/UNLOAD' button on the machine.
- Cutting is complete.
2. Contour Output Cutting
- Create or import graphics into the software.
- Select the graphic and use the contour function to create an outline.
- Click 'Apply' to confirm the outline.
- Note: Enable the "skeleton" checkbox if you need to cut internal parts of the graphic.
- Click 'Send to Device'.
- Select a printer to print the designed graphic.
- Attach the printed graphic to the cutting mat, aligning it with the placement marks.
- In the software, select the cutting contour option.
- Click 'Send'.
- Follow software instructions to locate and press the 'START' button on the machine.
- Place the mat with the adhered material on the edge of the press wheel.
- Press the 'LOAD' button when the material is ready.
- Press the 'START' button on the machine to begin cutting.
- When processing is complete, the software prompts you to press the 'LOAD/UNLOAD' button.
- Press the 'LOAD/UNLOAD' button on the machine.
- Contour cutting is complete.
IX. APP Installation and Use
Pair your machine with mobile devices via Bluetooth. Ensure the SMART1 is powered on and within 15 feet.
1. Software Download

2. App Usage
- Open the app and register for an account, then log in.
- Create a new account by entering your email, getting a verification code, setting a password, selecting your country, and agreeing to the terms. Click 'Create NEW ID'.
- Sign in with your registered account details.
- Turn on your device's Bluetooth.
- Navigate to the home page and click 'Profile'.
- Click 'Machine Setting'.
- Allow location access when prompted.
- Click 'Add' to pair a new device.
- Click 'Pair Devices'.
- Select the SMART1 cutter from the list of available devices (e.g., Smart_4F1E).
- Connection successful. Click back.
- Click 'Home'.
- Select a graphic from the gallery or create a new one.
- Edit graphics on the canvas. Click 'Make'.
- Confirm editing and tap 'Make'.
- Select the cutting mat and click 'Next'.
- Select materials and click 'Next'.
- Adjust the cutting position by moving the graphic on the screen.
- Tap 'Make' to proceed.
- Press the 'LOAD' button when the material is ready.
