Compatibility
The Nest Learning Thermostat is compatible with a wide range of central heating systems, including Combi boilers, System boilers, Heat pumps, Zoned systems, and District heating. It supports On/Off and OpenTherm control systems. A Wi-Fi connection is required for app control and software updates.
Installation Overview
The installation process involves installing the Heat Link first, followed by the thermostat itself. The thermostat can be mounted on the wall or placed on a stand (sold separately). Detailed wiring diagrams are provided for various system types.
