General Notes on Fuses and Relays

⚠️ WARNING: Risk of accident and injury due to overloaded lines. Manipulating or bridging a faulty fuse, or replacing it with a fuse of higher amperage, can overload the electric line and cause a fire. Always replace faulty fuses with specified new fuses containing the correct amperage.

ℹ️ NOTE: Damage or malfunctions caused by moisture. Moisture can damage the electrical system. Ensure no moisture enters the fuse box when open, and that the seal is correctly positioned when closing.

Electrical fuses switch off defective circuits. If a fuse blows, components on that circuit cease to operate. Replace faulty fuses with fuses of the same type and rating. If a fuse blows repeatedly, have the cause determined by a qualified specialist workshop.

Fuses and relays are located in the following fuse boxes:

Always have fuses in the pre-fuse box and relays in the fuse boxes replaced at a qualified specialist workshop.
