Design

The VENTO INHOME W S11 features a decorative front panel, a fan with a reversible EC motor, a ceramic enthalpy heat exchanger (regenerator), G3 filter, noise insulating material, and an air duct, connected to an outer ventilation hood. It is available in black or white modifications.

The VENTO INHOME MINI W unit shares similar components. The fan status is indicated by shutters: "The fan is off (the shutters are closed)" and "The fan is on (the shutters are opened)".

Filters include ISO Coarse >50% (G3) and optionally ISO ePM1 60% (F7).

Operation and Control

Low power consumption ensures suitability for continuous operation without significant impact on energy bills. Units can be connected into a one-system network without wires. Remote management is possible via a remote control or smartphone. Mounting is easy through external walls without complex ducting.

Operation within a network guarantees balanced ventilation. Higher supply air purification is achievable with an optional ISO ePM1 60% (F7) filter. External sensors can be connected, and an automatic shutter can prevent undesired external entry when the unit is turned off (optional).

Control System

Ventilators can be networked for centralized control. For Wi-Fi versions, units connect wirelessly. Signals from the control panel, remote control, smartphone (optional), or humidity sensor are received by the master (main) ventilator.

The Blauberg Home app for Android or iOS devices is available on Google Play and the App Store.

Unit operation can also be controlled via the sensor control panel on the unit casing or the remote control. Available controls include:

The Vento inHome features a humidity sensor. If indoor humidity exceeds a set point, the unit automatically boosts to speed III.

Energy Recovery

Unit Operating Logic in Winter Period

The unit operates in two phases, each lasting 70 seconds:

When the ceramic heat exchanger warms up, the unit switches to the supply mode. When it cools down, it switches back to the extract air mode, ensuring continuous heat recovery.

Diagram shows the winter operating logic. In Phase 1, air is extracted from INDOOR (+20°C) and flows OUTSIDE (-7°C), transferring heat to the exchanger. In Phase 2, air is supplied to the INDOOR (+17°C) from OUTSIDE (-10°C), having absorbed heat from the exchanger. Arrows indicate air flow direction and temperature changes.

Mounting

The unit is designed for through-the-wall installation into a prepared hole in an outer wall. For optimal ventilation, pairwise installation of reverse-phase synchronized units is recommended, where some units supply fresh air and others extract stale air, creating efficient balanced ventilation.

For new construction, installation occurs in two stages:
