Button Functions

  • Select Button: Confirms function during pages.
  • Up Button: Used to move forward.
  • Down Button: Used to move downward.
  • Home Button:
    • At main menu, short press 4 times to enter sleep mode.
    • In other pages, returns to the previous page.
    • In workout mode, activates "workout finish" selection dialogue.
  • Display Button:
    • In workout mode, cycles through 5 different data layouts.
    • In custom interval setting and other defined pages, acts as a right shift function.
  • Units Button:
    • In workout mode, cycles through 4 screen displays for units.
    • In custom interval setting and other defined pages, acts as a left shift function.
  • Comp Button: Hold for 2 seconds to activate competition mode. In this mode, console timeout changes to 12 hours, and the LED light flashes continuously.

Reset Function

To reset, press the Units and Display buttons simultaneously, then press and hold the Reset button for 7 seconds. The screen will display "setting factory defaults". Releasing the buttons will initiate the reset. Caution: Resetting will clear all data and restore factory settings.

Display Information and Modes

Workout Modes

The console displays various workout data. In interval workout reset mode, the current interval number is shown. Lower time/500m indicates greater effort.

Data Display Layouts

The Display button cycles through 5 data layouts in workout mode. The Units button cycles through 4 unit displays.

Specific Data Displays

The main display can show accumulated distance, watts, time/500m, or calories per hour, providing immediate feedback on workout intensity.

In 'just row' and 'single target' workout modes, the left side of the display can show elapsed time, remaining workout time, watts, calories, or time/500m.

An additional data position can display average time/500m, average watts, or accumulated calories for the current workout.

In 'just row' mode, this position shows estimated distance per 30 minutes. In interval or single target modes, it shows target finish time or distance. In interval rest mode, it displays total finish distance.

Heart Rate Monitoring

Your heart rate is displayed if the M2 console is connected to a compatible heart rate belt and worn correctly.

Other Display Information

The display can also show your stroke rate (strokes per minute) and split workout results. In interval mode, the interval number is displayed.

FCC Compliance

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. It generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If it causes interference, users are encouraged to try correcting it by reorienting/relocating the antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, or connecting to a different circuit. Consult a dealer or technician for assistance.
