Maintenance
Your spa may require additional air periodically due to temperature changes. Follow assembly instructions and drain the spa before inflating to the correct pressure.
CAUTION: Ensure the pump is unplugged before maintenance.
Filter Cartridge Maintenance
Check and clean filter cartridges daily to keep spa water clean. We recommend replacing cartridges weekly or when soiled and discolored.
Water Maintenance
Keeping spa water clean and chemically balanced is essential. Clean filter cartridges are not enough. Use pool chemicals and a chemical dispenser with chlorine or bromine tablets (not granules) to maintain water chemistry.
NOTE: Shower before use to prevent cosmetic products and residues from degrading water quality.
Using Chemical Tablets/Dispenser
To use the chemical dispenser with tablets: Place tablets in the dispenser, close the dispenser, and place it in the spa. Remove the dispenser when the spa is in use.
Recommended Water Chemistry
Parameter | Recommended Level |
---|---|
pH | 7.4-7.6 |
Total Alkalinity | 80-120 ppm |
Free Chlorine | 2-4 ppm |
NOTE: Damage from chemical imbalance is not covered by warranty. Handle chemicals with care and follow manufacturer instructions. Consult local pool supply retailers for more information.
Air-Valve Adjustment
If there is an air leak, check the air valve. Use soapy water to detect leaks. If found, use the provided wrench to fasten the valve clockwise, holding the backside from the inner side of the spa wall. NOTE: Do not overtighten. Always check the valve before use. Do not adjust when the spa is in use.
Draining the Spa
To drain the spa: Connect the drain hose to the drain port, open the drain cap, and allow water to flow out. Lift the spa when only a little water remains. Dry the spa pool thoroughly. Damages to handles are not covered under warranty.
Cleaning the Spa
Detergent residues and dissolved solids can build up on spa walls. Use soap and water to clean walls and rinse thoroughly. NOTE: Do not use hard brushes or abrasive cleaners.
Deflation
To deflate: Unscrew the valve cap. Unscrew the valve itself (e.g., P61727). Air will escape. For quick deflation, use the quick inflation/deflation valve (e.g., P61725).
Repair
For PVC Part
If the spa is torn or punctured, use the provided underwater adhesive repair patch. Clean the area, peel the patch, and press it over the damaged area for 30 seconds before inflation.
For Tritech PVC Material
If the spa is torn or punctured, use the provided PVC repair patch and glue (not included). Clean and dry the area. Cut the patch to size. Apply glue to one side of the patch, wait 30 seconds, and place it over the damaged area. Smooth out air bubbles and press firmly for two minutes. Wait 30 minutes before inflation. Repeat if necessary.
Storage
Ensure the spa and pump are completely dry before storage to extend their life. Store the spa in its original packaging in a warm, dry place. Plastic can become brittle and break when exposed to subzero temperatures, potentially damaging the spa. Improper winterization can void the warranty.
