1. Preparation

SIM Card: Please obtain a standard nano-SIM card from your carrier.

Device Information: Refer to the device's bottom label for default parameters. The illustration below is for reference only.

2. Connecting to the Internet

2.1 Wired Broadband Mode

This device supports home broadband services provided by your carrier. You can use it to connect directly to the internet.

  1. Log in to the device management page.
  2. Change the connection mode to Wired Broadband Mode and configure one of the device's network ports as the WAN port for connecting to the carrier's home broadband service.
  3. Configure the device according to the parameters provided by your carrier.
  4. Connect the carrier's home broadband service port to the device's WAN port using a network cable.
  5. Connect your computer or mobile device to the internet.

2.2 Bridge Mode

This device supports Bridge Mode, which allows you to connect other routers to the internet.

  1. Refer to sections 1-3 to connect this device to the internet.
  2. Log in to the device management page.
  3. Change the connection mode to Bridge Mode and configure one of the device's network ports as the WAN connection port as needed.
  4. Connect other routers to the configured WAN connection port via network cable. Other routers will then be able to obtain an IP address from the internet and connect.

Note: In Bridge Mode, devices connected via network cable to non-WAN ports or Wi-Fi connected mobile devices cannot access the internet. They can only be used to log in to the device's management page.

2.3 Internet Wi-Fi Function

You can connect this device to another internet-connected hotspot device to share internet service.

  1. Log in to the device management page.
  2. Navigate to Wi-Fi Settings, and enable the Internet Wi-Fi function.
  3. Add and connect to the hotspot device's Wi-Fi network.
  4. Access the internet using your terminal device.

2.4 Wi-Fi (WLAN) Connection

On your mobile device, open Wi-Fi (WLAN) settings, select the device's SSID, and enter the password. After a successful connection, your mobile device can access the internet.

3. Indicator Lights and Ports

4. Warranty Information

ZTE Corporation strictly adheres to national "Three Guarantees" regulations to provide satisfactory after-sales service.

Warranty Period

During the warranty period, if quality issues arise, consumers can bring the wireless data terminal, its warranty certificate stamped by the dealer, and the original invoice to an authorized ZTE service center for free warranty service. The warranty certificate is applicable to wireless data terminals legally sold in mainland China by ZTE Corporation.

Three Guarantees Service (Return, Exchange, Repair)

Warranty Limitations

Warranty service is limited to non-human damage faults caused by product quality issues within the valid warranty period under normal use. The following situations will void the warranty qualification for the wireless data terminal and its accessories:

5. Simple Troubleshooting

5.1 Network Issues

Problem DescriptionSolution
Cannot access the internet
  • Check your device configuration.
  • After power-on, the device requires 1-2 minutes for initialization; please wait.
  • Check the status of the device indicator lights.
Slow upload and download speedsUpload and download speeds depend on signal strength and network type. Check the signal strength indicator status and network type.
Cannot access the 5G CPE management page
  • Enter the correct address in the browser's address bar. Refer to the device's bottom label for the default IP address.
  • Use a single network card on your computer. Multiple network cards may cause address resolution failure.
  • Do not use a proxy server.
Cannot connect to Wi-Fi devices and clients
  • Check if the device's Wi-Fi is enabled.
  • Refresh the wireless network list, select the correct SSID to connect.
  • Check if the client IP address is set to obtain automatically.
  • Enter the correct Wi-Fi connection key.

5.2 Other Issues

Signal strength indicator light is off or only shows 1 lightPoor signal. Please place the device in an area with strong signal, such as near a window.
Password issues
  • For default Wi-Fi connection key and SSID, refer to the device label.
  • For default device management page login password, refer to the device label.
  • If you forget your newly changed password, restore the device to factory settings to revert the password to its default value. Your custom settings may also be reset to default.
